"Hole and Corner"

➖Y/N's POV➖

You suddenly woke up to the sound of your phone ringing. You fell asleep the moment you got home. You also forgot to wipe off your makeup and change into pajamas because you're too exhausted. After what happened today with you and Jin, Seobi and Namjoon and with the boys?, you're totally worned out. Still half asleep, you reached for your phone to check and saw several missed calls from Seo-bi and messages from SeokJin. You decided to make a return call to Seo-bi first. You dialled her number aggressively and waited. She answered right away. In a hoarse voice you heard her whisper on the other line, "Y/N, can I stay with you tonight?" You gulped for a second then prompted without even asking why, "Sure, I'll ask Mom's driver to pick you up right now. Get ready." She said goodbye and hunged up right away. You called your Mom to let her know about Seo-bi. Mom told you that she'll be picked up within 20 minutes. You texted Seo-bi the details. She replied with a short "Thanks Y/N." This is the first time she'll be sleeping out of their place and without Namjoon. It's late and you wondered what happened to them. "Did they had a fight?," you kept thinking.

Still lazy to get up, you opened Jin's messages. "Are you home?" he asked. "Hey!" he said. "You forgot to call me (sad face emoji)" he texted.  And on his last message, "Goodnight (crying emoji)." You smiled. You were about to text him back when your Mom opened the door and walked into your room with fresh pillows and linens in hand. "Did something happened to Seo-bissi?" she asked worriedly. You gawked at her and prepared to lie, "Nothing happened Mom, we're just having a sleepover, just like the old days." Your Mom scoffed at you, "You're too old for sleepovers, you should rather be sleeping with a guy." Your eyes widened to your Mom's savage comment. "OMMA!" you exclaimed. She tossed the pillow and linens on your face and plodged out of your room. "Why are you so hard on me? I'm your only daughter!" you wailed and act dramatic. "Goodnight daughter! Please find yourself a boyfriend soon!," she yelled back. You threw a childish fit as she closed the door behind. Annoyed, you stood up and decided to take a warm bath.

You dried your hair and slipped into your flannels afterwards. You're sitting on your vanity doing your nightly skin care routine when you remembered Jin's messages. You ran back to your bed, dugging hurriedly over a pile of pillows and blankets to find your phone. Again, you started to type your reply when Seo-bi showed up by the door with a duffle bag. Her hair was pulled up in a messy bun. She's wearing a buttoned blouse over a pair of lousy mom jeans and dark sunglasses during night time. "Jesus! What happened to you!," you freaked out. She dropped her bag and ran towards you. She hugged you and sniffled. "I just needed time to think for myself. I told Joon to go check on his brothers back in their dorm and then I sneaked out," she sobbed. "What?" you pretended not to hear. You pushed her lightly and she let you off. "He said there wasn't a problem when I surely know that there is," she answered. You held her hand and led her to sit on the bed. "You were there earlier with the boys when Namjoon dragged me inside our bedroom, what did they talked about?" she asked you again. "I just wanted to know what happened to the boys and to Jungkook, did they do something to that poor kid?" she said looking distraught, waiting for some answers that will calm her down. "Joon doesn't want to tell me anything. He just told me they will figure it out themselves and all I have to do is relax," she continued without interruption. "I can't do that! I need to know! They should let me help them fix the problem and not getting exempted for being the problem!" she implied. She rested her head on your shoulder then whimpered.
