A figure flew by the slope on the road in the small neighborhood beneath the scorching sun, going as fast as a cheetah running at full speed. Bystanders leaped left and right to get so they wouldn't get obliterated by it if they got hit.
The figure continued to zoom by at full speed, showing no sign of stopping anytime soon. Not too far behind were two animals, a hyena and a coyote, chasing it as fast as their legs could carry them.
"AAAAAAAAAHH!!!!"
"Just keep your balance for now! *huff* We'll catch you! *pant* "
Waves of sweat rolled down Miguno as he ran. He was a good step behind Durham who was running way faster, "She's too fast! I doubt we can *huff* catch up," Miguno said in between pants.
"Then what do you suggest we do?! She's not wearing a helmet!" Durham barked back.
"Let me think! We can't just have her use the break or she'll fly off!"
"Well you can't just think cause as you can see, we don't have much TIME!" as he said that, Durham pointed at the end of the slope they were going down on. The road ended with a fork going left and right, with the middle of it being a wall made of asphalt.
Miguno gritted his teeth, "Shoot, shoot! Uh.. c'mon.. What to do.."
[10 minutes before this incident]
"Tada!" Miguno threw up his arm at the tiny bicycle behind him, showcasing it to Luna.
"Whoa!!" Not one second later the little husky was already all over it, looking at from every angle possible. "This is waaay cooler than a tricycle!"
Durham nodded excitedly, "You know it! Since you're already such a pro at the tricycle, I thought we could have you level up to a bicycle."
"I love it!" Luna smiled widely, her tail wagging excitedly behind her.
"Good!" Durham smiled widely. "You wanna try it out?"
"Of course I do!"
The three went to the front of their house. Miguno glanced around. Thankfully the road was pretty straight and long, and there weren't that many animals there.
"Here, you can try it here," Miguno said as he offered the bike.
"Okay," Luna sat down on the bicycle's seat and put one of her feet on the pedals. Not too long after she was already riding around in front of their house.
"This is easy! Actually, It's kinda easier than the tricycle.." A deer on a bicycle passed by the road as she said that. Luna glanced at him and his bike. "Huh..?" She quickly looked down at her bike, noticing two tiny wheels attached to her bike, "Four wheels..?"
Durham noticed her reaction, "Uh oh."
Luna dropped off her bicycle and crouched down to inspect the extra wheels, "Why does my bike have these? It 's even lamer than a tricycle, it has 4 wheels! One more than the tricycle!"
Miguno tried to persuade Luna, "It's so you can get used to riding it first-"
"-But daddy said I was already a pro at the tricycle, riding something with one less wheel wouldn't be that much harder!"
Miguno hesitated, "Are you sure? I don't want you to fall and get hurt.."
"Then I'll just get back up and try again!"
