Ash Lights in the Dark

part 10(Dirt)

(A few min prior to the conversation with Charles)
Ash as he walked the streets he suddenly stopped at the middle feeling the aura of some people he knew and he tensed up feeling the aura he didn't for so long 'Master you sense that aura and are reacting to it stop thinking or else your thoughts will consume what's left of you now snap out of it" came a voice inside Ash's head and then Ash clutched the pokeball around his neck " thanks I needed that but why them and now of all times " Ash questioned within his thought " it is not for me to answer master all I can say is the path we walk does not have room for any feeling or anyone" Ash stayed silent at the words he heard knowing fully well what he meant and he continued walking inside the poke center.
"Welcome how may I be of assistance?" Questioned Nurse Joy as she looked up to see who needed her help but was surprised to see who stood infront of her. "An aura warden of all beings stood infront of her"
The whole room feel into a deep silence as soon as Ash entered and they parted ways for him like it was natural a prey moving away from a predator. Ash was used to being treated this way so he did not bother anyone and just continued on with his task. "ummmm..... Ughhhh .... ex...excuse me Sir how may I help you?" Questioned nurse Joy in a low voice as she heard what aura guardians were and the power they hold. Ash put his hands inside his bag and drew out an envelope and handed it to nurse Joy who look puzzled "For me ?" To which he simply noted by this time everyone was interested in the scene playing infront of them. Nurse Joy while receiving the envelope noticed the many cuts on the hooded man's hand which varied from size to size. But she just kept quiet and as she opened and read the contents of the envelope she screamed out "YOU ARE A PARTICIPANT!!!" and he simply nod his head. Everybody was shocked because it was a first for an aura guardian to enter such tournament.
"Who allowed a murderer to enter such a prestigious tournament" "Is it really safe for us to enter" "Get him out of here" "Monster" "A freak of nature"  were the words that came flying out of everyone in the room. This sort of situation was nothing new to Ash he just sighed and asked in a low voice"Can I or Not?" He asked nurse Joy which caught her off guard as she was shocked by what being said about him but his dry raspy voice bought her back from her shock. "Yes you can as your letter was written by Mr.Charles so you are more than eligible for entry" she said with a smile which caused another silence in the crowd as how could a chairman bring such a person to a tournament of this magnitude but seeing they couldn't do or say much just glared at Ash and departed as Ash was about to leave he heard "You haven't talked in some time huh and the things you do are so that those we live peacefully and happy right?" asked nurse Joy in a sad voice she did not expect a reply but " I do it so nobody else gets their hand dirty " said Ash in a voidless voice "Then what about your happiness who's fighting for it" asked Joy with tears forming on her cheeks. " You are innocent too innocent for this world "he said as he put forward his hands to put his hand to wipe the tears but stopped midway and refracted it back as he shivered. He simply gave her a small piece of cloth to wipe the tears and moved away "May we meet again if our fates do collide" as he walked away from a crying Joy the onlookers spoke "what a dirt making a girl cry"
