Part 4: The Other XL-R8

3rd POV:

Upon arriving at Beacon Ben was wearing a cloak once again as his identity still needed to remain hidden for a little while until an announcement would be made. Weiss held his hand as she smiled brightly. This confused many bystanders who saw them. Whispers started to sound out asking questions of who he was and how they met and how quickly she went from depressed and Antisocial to social and happy.

"Odd, he seems somewhat familiar."

"Yeah but you see how they're holding hands?"

"You think she's moved on?"

"I mean maybe but it's good for her isn't it?"

These kinds of conversations went around as they walked before Ozpin turned to the group. He rested against his Cane as Glynda and Tai went off towards the main offices.

"I imagine it's odd being back however I request that Team RWBY come with me to discuss their finding in Menagerie while you can explore the campus and re-familiarize yourself with the utilities. I do ask that you keep the hood up." Ozpin said as the girls looked saddened that they couldn't hear where Ben had been. And no one was more disappointed than Weiss.

She turned towards him and gently took his hand in her looking to his shrouded face. She saw the glint of a smile reflecting a bit of sunlight. He cupped her cheek and leaned in gently kissing her.

"I've taken on Vilgax. I think I can handle the strange waves of high school." He said chuckling as she smiled. She leaned in and pecked his forehead.

"Alright then just try not to get in trouble." Weiss said as they left him to his own vices. He looked around to see a few people staring at him. It was with hostile intent.

"Hmmm..." He hummed seeing a few people walk over. It was Team CRDL. He rolled his eyes remembering that these guys were trouble. Cardin, as usual, was the first to speak.

"Sup cloak and dagger. What's your story? Another one of Ozpins prodigies?" He asked as Ben turned to him hiding his face as a few people looked over half expecting Cardin to start swinging.

"You could say that, and what's it to you extra?" Ben asked as Cardin's eye twitched. Sky spoke up next.

"What's that punk? You wanna die?" He asked as he placed his hand on his weapon. Russel walked up and lifted up the cloak.

"What what's with this tacky look you got going here?" He asked as Ben swiftly kicked him in the nether regions and slammed his foot into his chest knocking him back. Cardin growled.

"You got a death wish or something?" He asked Ben as Ben placed his foot back down. He turned to Cardin and pointed at Russel.

"No body touches the robe." He said in a menacing voice which seemed to make Dove and Sky flinch a bit Cardin however was too full of himself to realize he was in any danger.

"Let me guess, if I take off that cloak it would hurt cause you've got some stupid illness or some crap?" Cardin asked as Ben chuckled and looked towards him dead in the eyes.

"It would be extremely painful..." He started before Cardin interrupted. 

"You look like a big guy." He said mocking him and drawing his weapon. People gathered around to see what was going to happen. Ben looked Cardin straight in the eyes.

"For you..." He finished before he moved his legs apart getting into a stance as the wind slightly flowed through his cloak as it lifted showing his tones body and odd looking watch. This slightly unnerved Cardin before he shook his head and charged at Ben swinging his mace.
