MADDIE'S POV
I woke up confused, wondering how my dream of meeting Niall last night seemed so real. The funny thing was, I couldn't remember what actually happened yesterday. All I remember is the version with me meeting Niall, which I knew wasn't ever possible with my horrible luck. This jetlag must be really getting to my head.
I walked into the kitchen not giving two shits how I looked, I'm sure it was bad, though--under eye bags, messy hair, a trail of drool here or there--nasty I know. My eyes were barley open. All I was awake enough to focus on was the floor under my feet. I needed some coffee.
It took me a few minutes to figure out the coffee maker, and then halfway through my coffee pouring I felt a presence in the room that startled me. I turned around and saw some blonde boy leaning against the door frame.
I rubbed my eyes, "Who are you?" I asked sleepily, before turning back around to finish up making my coffee. I added plenty of cream and sugar. I took a sip.
"You don't remember me?" he said, sounding confused.
I turn around with with wide eyes after recognizing the voice.
Niall....? Am I still dreaming? And then it all came back to me....
I turn towards the cabinets to catch my balance.
"Oh, hi. Sorry, I'm so jet lagged I wouldn't be able to tell your face from a walrus. Plus I haven't had my full cup of coffee yet." I said casually, facing the cabinet. As if it was normal for me to see an international popstar in my kitchen.
"I know what you mean, jetlag sucks," he said. Well of course hes used to jetlag from touring everywhere..
"What a you doing here so early? Do you live here or something?" I asked jokingly. I assumed it was early in the morning from the way I was feeling, and looking out the window I saw that it was rainy and foggy; I couldn't tell what time it was.
He laughed, "Are you kidding? Babe, it's 2:30, everyone's already left. The twins sent me back here to ask you to come hang out in town, so we can show you about, ya know."
Did he just call me babe? I'm dying here, d y i n g.
"No, you're kidding! It feels so early... I mean, yeah, I'll come to town. I just need to get ready...". My hand slips up to brush my fingers through my hair and I remember how I just literally rolled out of bed. "Oh shit, that's right, I really do need to get ready. Sorry I wasn't expecting to see anyone this morning.." I start to blush, hard. Fml. This would only happen to me...
"What are you talking about? You look good, you always look good."
AWH SHUCKS.
I blush even harder, "Thanks...I should go shower..."
"Kay well I'll be out here when you're ready to go."
NIALL'S POV
Waiting for Maddie got a bit boring, even with the sandwich I fixed myself.. Sam and Finn's mom doesn't have a TV, so I'm just stuck here staring at my phone. I can't help but think about Maddie; she's so sweet, and I can't help but notice those big green eyes. Even though I only met her last night, I couldn't help but notice how easy she was to talk to, a bit strange at first though. I wonder if she knew about One Direction... Then I wondered if she had a twitter... I couldn't help but want to know more about her. I typed her name in the search bar and saw her face pop up.
I was about to hit the follow button when I caught a glimpse of one of her tweets... And then another... All one direction related... All asking for follows and tweeting the boys and me. Well. Guess she does know about me. Isn't this awkward.
I thought she was different. Sometimes I don't want everyone one to know about me. Sometimes I just want to have a double life or something. All these fans, they all think they know me, but they really don't. I sigh. Thought she was different. Now I will just see her as another fan.
