Chapter 2

After my initial shock of seeing fucking Niall Horan--just kidding, I would never get over this shock. CALM YO TITS MADDIE. Ok, just pretend he is a normal guy. Not that hard. Not that hard??? With those blue eyes staring into my soul? I've been waiting for this moment all my life! How was I suppose to pretend he was just a normal guy???

"Maddie.." Mina whispers poking my rib.

I spin around, "WHAT."

Oh shit. Could I be any louder??

Mina laughs, and I'm this close to slapping her.

"Are you alright Maddie?" Linda asks.

"What? Oh I'm fine.. Um, actually can I get some water? I'm feeling a bit of a headache.."

"Yes, of course. Niall why don't you show her to the kitchen?" WHAT. The purpose of getting a glass of water was to take a step away and calm down, this was not going to help.

She turns to me, "Niall is practically my third son." She laughs, casually. Yeah, funny.

Niall gets up and wipes his hands on his napkin, then glances up and smiles. KILL ME NOW.

"This way, m'dear," he says with his cute Irish accent.

After we've made it down the hall a bit in silence, he turns to me, "You don't talk much, do you?"

"Um.... Yeah..." GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF. JESUS CHRIST. Just a normal guy, just a normal guy.

He laughs again, "What's your name again?"

Ok, you got this. "I'm Maddie." I smile shyly.

"I'm Niall, nice to meet you."

When we make it to the kitchen he shows me where the glasses are and then leans casually on the counter and I can't help but notice his toned arms in his polo.... Get a hold of youself. I mean it this time.

"How long are you guys staying?" he asks.

"The whole summer."

"Thats good," he says trailing off.

"Why?"

"Oh, I'm just around here a lot... We'll have to get to know each other.." OH NIALL STOP.

"I guess so..." I say fake-sadly he laughs and punches me lightly on the arm.

"Hey! Not nice." He laughs.

"Still workin on that water?" He nods toward my empty glass.

"Oh! Um no.. I mean yeah." Oh god what am I saying now.. I blush like crazy and when I look up so is he.

We walk back to the living room and I introduce myself to the cousins, Sam and Finn. We all talk for a while, and when Niall has to go he gives me a hug. A Horan hug, bitches. A Horan hug.

"See ya soon," and I can't help but notice his wink. Oh, shoot me now.

Mina's POV

MY SISTER IS GOING FUCKING CRAZY. LIKE CRAY CRAY OVER NIALL.

Makes me sick. Like... Get a life!!!!! Ok, I have to admit they'd be adsorbsable together..but don't ever tell anyone I said that.

After we sit and talk for a while, Linda shows us to our room. Yeah, that's right OUR room, as in, I have to share a room with that hormonal bitch. Like shoot me!

Sometimes I wonder how we are even related.... How can I have the same genes as someone who worships a stupid boy band?? Justin Bieber is where its at. Wish he lived in Ireland...

After Maddie unpacks she just sits at the end of her bed and smiles into the distance like a freak.

"What are you looking at." She doesn't seem to hear me. "YO. MADDIE. Wake up from yo horny daydream!" I wave my hands in front of her face.

"What?" she says hazily.

"Oh Niall called asking for you, no big deal." I say casually.

"Wait what?? WHEN? What did he say? Why didn't you tell me?" Gotcha. I laugh, "you wish."

"Bitch." she pushes me on the bed, but still the stupid smile doesn't leave her face.. Guess nothing I do could ruin this day for her.

Maddie's POV

Before going to bed, I look through my tweets and see one from Niall:

Had a fun day today met some new people :) hah

OH MY LORD. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH MYSELF.

I drift off to sleep thinking of only one thing, Niall.

It's going to be a good summer.
