The soft rumble of many footsteps as people ran through the hallways, the cries of some, the panicked shouts of others, was like music to my ears. I picked up my knife and made my way along to the main corridor. I heard frantic rattling coming from the other end of the hallway. A girl, just older than me, was furiously shaking the doorknob.
"Shit! It won't open-" She cried. I quietly cleared my throat. "What are you wearing on your face...Nevermind, come help me with this!" I sauntered over, holding my knife behind my back. I grasped her hand as she was clutching the doorknob. She looked at me, her confusion melting away to shock as the cold, hard blade pierced her heart. I could tell she tried to scream, but only a strangled gargling sound came out as she collapsed to the floor with a resounding thud.
