"You're all over the news." Kirstie stated who's currently sitting on the passenger's seat. Scrolling through twitter.
"Uh huh. Thanks to this little missy over here." Mitch pointed out on the young lady who's driving.
Atira gasps loudly and glance at the rear mirror to make eye contact with Mitch. "Excuse me? I didn't asked for you to step up on Karen."
"Yeah. But she needs to calm her tits so." Mitch calmly said. They all burst out laughing.
After the mayhem scenery from yesterday, Kirstie and Mitch decided that the next day is a great time to meet Atira's mom. Since they're basically hanging out with each other 24/7, and there are so little time for them to settle under less than a month.
Also ... Kirstie has a lot of questions in mind for the mom.
They started jamming on the car as some random songs comes on the radio. Banging their heads and singing off key at top of their lungs.
Three singers? Off key? Pfft.
Suddenly, a particular familiar song came in. Making Kirstie and Mitch's eyes wide open, they shared looks, covering their mouth and made an 'oooh' sound.
Atira glanced at them weirdly as they started singing into different parts of the song. She gasps as she realizes it.
"Oh! This is you guys?–"
"COVERING MY EARS LIKE A KID! ..."
Kirstie sang– more like yelled the chorus, while Mitch exagerates his 'aahh' part.
Atira giggled at the act of the two just jamming on their song, she continued to focus on the road while listening to the two.
The song came to an end leaving both of the latinas out of breath.
"Oh God! That's like ... a decade year old song! I can't believe someone remembers that." Kirstie said in disbelief, resting her elbow on the window.
Mitch just shrugs "Maybe a pentaholic requested it. We have fans remember?"
Kirstie chuckles at the thought of the fans. Those were the good ol' days.
"Bitch please. You guys are grammy awarded artists. Ya'll forgetting that?"
The two adults turned their heads to Atira as they were shock that she knows a known fact of them.
Kirstie blurted out "I thought that you're not a fan of our music?"
Atira glanced at them and back to the road, she chuckled. "I'm sadly not. But ever since people started calling me your daughter, I did some research on you guys. The one thing that stands out is that you won some grammies."
The two just nodded slowly at the explanation and shrugged.
The thought of them having grammies is a huge achivement in their lifetime. If it weren't for Pentatonix, they wouldn't be in their position right now. But ever since they've had a change of pace in life, they're just living at the moment, acknowledging the new era.
It's crazy to think that one of them is a Pastor, a Doctor in China, a Model, and an Actress. Leaving only one of them in the music industry.
They're still open for opportunities in terms of music. It's just not that serious than before, but they'll always come back if they still wanted to.
"We're here." Atira said after pulling over on a driveway.
Hopping out of the car, they went straight to the elevator and Atira presses the designated floor button.
