Plot: "How about a Ratchet x Blind human reader *plot is where the reader is blind I mean not like they can't see until they get surgery, not that kind of blind the kind of blind where she has different eyes and shes blindfolded by her father because he said "your eyes disgust me" or "No one will love you because of your eyes you monster" but Ratchet sees it differently, he thinks her eyes are beautiful."

The reader is human and is blindfolded in this one. Enjoy!

There was a human named Y/N. She was 18 and let's just say that she was blind. Not technically blind, but the thing was: she's blindfolded by her abusive father. How abusive? Well, physically abusive. He was using hurtful words to damage his own daughter. He was a horrible man. Y/N's mother wasn't alive anymore, because she died when Y/N was a baby. And let me tell you, Y/N's mother was the only one that found Y/N's eyes beautiful.

Y/N was born with a special and unique eye condition that one of her eyes had a different color. Her one eye was official E/C but her other eye was F/C. When Y/N's father saw his daughter's eyes, he was so disgusted. When Y/N's mother passed away, Y/N's dad was wors. He started to physically abuse her at a young age that it damaged Y/N a lot. Also at a young age, Y/N's dad blindfolded his own daughter from the world. Y/N thought for years that she was blind because she only saw darkness. She never saw the outside world, not even colors or how the world looked like. But she did felt weather like the sun, wind, rain... She just wished to see how the world looked like.

When she was a toddler, she befriended a Lombax creature named Ratchet. He was a toddler too at the time which it meant that he didn't understand much. Once they both got older, Ratchet never asked why Y/N was wearing a blindfold.

That was years ago. Y/N was 18 and so was Ratchet. The Lombax started to question how Y/N's eyes looked like. He never saw them before. He was about to ask Y/N that question until he found out that Y/N got kidnapped by Dr. Nefarious. Let's just say that Y/N's dad worked for him and no one knew about! Not even his own wife! Y/N was shocked, scared, angry, and terrified. Her own father betrayed her. Why would he do this? What was wrong with him? She wanted badly to get revenge, but she couldn't because she was 'blind'.

"D-Dad, why did you do this? W-What did I ever do to you? Why didn't you l-like my eyes?" Y/N was holding the bars of the jail. She wanted to get out and be with Ratchet.

"Don't you understand, my sweet? Your eyes disgust me. No one will love you because of your eyes, you monster." Y/N's father's voice was dark and scary.

Y/N felt more heartbroken. She was more damaged than before that she started to have negative thoughts. Something that no one wanted. Y/N's eyes had tears and they were about to roll down until she heard a familiar voice and it caused her to be happy.

"I don't think so!" It was Ratchet.

"R-Ratchet!"

"Aww, well, look at that. The Lombax hero is here to save my ugly daughter."~

Ratchet was angrier. How dare he insult Y/N! He wanted to beat Y/N's dad up but Nefarious too. The Lombax made a plan with other Galactic Rangers to arrest both of them since attacking them can cause trouble. He saw in the corner of his beautiful emerald eyes that Brax and Cora were hiding, ready to arrest them.

"First of all, how can you call your own daughter! You broke her spirit by psychical abusing her!"

This time, Nefarious laughed easily. "Oh, he never loved her daughter ever since he saw her ugly eyes."

"And you're alone, Lombax, together with your small robot. What are you gonna do?"~

Ratchet then smirked and whistled with his fingers and that's when Brax and Cora came put and arrested them.

"Ratchet, you must open the bars to let Y/N out," Clank said.

Ratchet simply went to the bars and kicked them hard that it was destroyed. Y/N did hear these noises, but couldn't see them. She then felt picked up by Ratchet.

"It's ok, Y/N. You'll stay with me and Clank," Ratchet said with a soft smile. He was happy to have her because he had a crush on her. Yep, he had a crush on her when he entered his teenage years. It was normal of course.

Y/N responded by wrapping her arms around his neck for support. Once they both were back at the garage in Veldin, Ratchet sat Y/N down on his bed and sat down next to her. "Y/N, I have a question for you."

"Shoot."

"Why... aren't you taking your blindfold off?" He was saying it soft that he even held one of her hands.

"... Because my eyes are monstrous. I'm ugly. I-I'm blind."

Ratchet was taken aback. Y/N's dad damaged Y/N a lot that she had now negative thoughts. Luckily, Ratchet can do something about it. His crush was only blinded by these negative thoughts that she never took her blindfold off.

"I want to see your eyes."

Y/N didn't say anything and nodded. She decided to let him see her 'monstrous' eyes. She felt Ratchet untying her blindfold and took it off. She saw... the world. Wait, she wasn't blind! She was lied by her dad for years and now look at that! She can see it! She made eye contact with Ratchet and she blushed. He was very handsome let me tell you. She saw that Ratchet blushed too and looked very amazed.

"Y/N, your eyes are beautiful! They aren't monstrous! Only one of your eyes has a different! It makes you very unique and special!"

That caused Y/N to blush harder. Did it make her unique and special? "R-Really?"

Ratchet nodded with a smile and gave her a mirror so that she could look at her eyes. Once Y/N saw her eyes, she couldn't believe it! One of her eyes was F/C. She wasn't really blind, she was born with a special eye condition and a rare one too. She felt... beautiful.

"You're born with a rare and special eye condition. The condition makes you have different eye color in one of your eyes," Clank explained.

Y/N felt a bit embarrassed. For years her father made her believe that she was blind because of this stupid blindfold. Well, in fact, Y/N's dad made her believe that she was blind and ever since then she wore that blindfold. She wasn't allowed to take it off, ever.

"I... I..." She was speechless.

Ratchet set the mirror down and took her both hands this time. "You're beautiful, Y/N. Don't let anyone make you feel down like your dad did."

Y/N smiled happily and hugged the Lombax, who was her crush. She even kissed his cheek. "Thank you, Fuzzball."

Ratchet blushed and smiled happily. "No problem."

Sorry that it's short. I'm planning to write Bowser x Reader One Shots very soon and even a book. With one-shots, I'll use Mario game inspirations to find ideas. I feel very sorry for my favorite villain.
