(this is some backstory or whatever its not good but it gets the point across)

Dream was a 16 year old boy, who went to Ridgeback High school in Orlando, Florida. He had about one friend who he hung out with the most, named Nick, but everyone at school had given him the nickname Sapnap, so that's what he had called him. Today he will be attending grade 10, and his mom had been having high hopes he will actually meet a new friend, since all his other ones so far had been toxic.
Dream thought other wise, since even if someone new were to come, he would be to busy sticking his nose in a book. He had always loved reading since that's what his dad had did with him before he passed away when Dream was 10. Dreams life has been pretty rough but maybe something good will happen to him.

Dream woke up with his dirty blonde hair in a mess as a sweet smell came from the kitchen. He groaned and slowly sat up in his untidy bed with grey and black tile patterned covers threatening to fall off the bed as he raised a hand to his pounding head and closed his eyes.

Today was the first day of school. He was never very fond of school or the people that went but his parents had forced him to actually attend instead of taking online courses.

He stood up at the end of his bed and looked out the window to be greeted with a ray of sunshine shining over his face, making his hazel green eyes vibrant and explosive against the plainness of the rest of the room. Anyone who were to pass by the window would be memorized by the green orbs that sat on the young teen boy as dirty blond hair dropped over ever so slightly.

He daydreamed towards the blue sky covered with patches of white clouds covering the shade in a design that brought out creativity to children's eyes. He rubbed his eyes and made his way towards the door, opening it just as his mother had began to knock, but had ended up knocking the air.

"Morning sweetie!" She said with a warm smile.

"Morning mom.." He responded in a raspy morning voice, combing a hand through his hair.

She sat with a sympathetic smile with worried eyes and put an arm around his shoulder, shaking him slightly.

"You're going to meet new friends, I just know it." She waited for an answer by his side, only to be left with a sigh from the boys mouth.

"I doubt it" He mumbled, speaking loud enough for his mom to barely hear.

He brushed past her and walked slowly to the kitchen to be greeted with a plate of pancakes.
He smiled at the plate and sat down, grabbing a fork and knife, slowly cutting into the freshly made breakfast.

He quickly ate the meal and ran back to his room throwing on a green hoodie with a smile on it he had gotten for his 16th birthday, and some black faded jeans.

He grabbed his phone while on his way to the front door in a slight jog, and ran to his car, jumping into the driver seat. He grabbed his keys an put it into the engine and pulled out of the driveway.

The September sun shone bright over the city that morning, as Dream made his way down the packed hall full of eager students who couldn't wait to see their friends again after the summer break. He got to his locker of which he had for the past year since he got to the school, and put in his required materials and textbooks, not caring if it was neat since he knew for a fact it would stay organized by the end of the week. He grabbed his notebooks and his schedule and looked around for his class.

Dream stood in front of the classroom and looked inside, his breath starting to get hitched as he looked at the students crowding around each table. Just as he started walking in, a man jumped to him, grabbing his shoulders and hugging him tight.

"SAPNAP?!" Dream screamed with joy, blocking out the people who were staring at him in disgust.

"DREAAM!" He laughed and hugged the boy tighter.

A smile grew across Dreams face, even though they had met up during the break, he was happy to see his best friend again. A small wheeze came out of his mouth as Sapnap had jumped like a five year old to the sight of his best friend.

"ITS BEEN LIKE A WEEK!" Dream wheezed as he acted like it's been over a year.

"ITS BEEN SO LONG!" Sapnap joked back and they both bursted out laughing, and in Dreams case wheezing, as the two friends made their way into the class.

Dream sat in a desk next to Sapnap as he laid out his materials onto the table.

"Are you ready for another amazing year?" Sapnap whispered to Dream sarcastically, smirking.

Sapnap wasn't popular but had a group of friends who he hung out with when he wasn't with Dream. The kids were the wrong people Sapnap could hangout with but he said they were "nice" when you got to know them, even though they would make fun of Dream each time he was caught reading a book, which was every free second he had.

Dream scroffed and looked towards the board, giggiling.
