Tw: light gore
I stared at the mirror,
I was naked. I stared at all of my features. All the things that i hated about myself my demons werent afraid to point out. I traced the stretch marks on my breasts with a smaller frown. My breasts were something id been proud of when i was younger. It was something that was meant to be attractive. Guys and some girls like big breasts right? Now i glared at them. Disgusting. They were nothing but inconvenient. My fingers trailed down to my stomach. How disgusting, the thing that i hated about me the most. My fingers slipped down to my thighs, spreading looking at them. Fat. Chubby. I squeezed them painfully. Then i looked at my own face. The face i hate the most. Acne. An eternal frown. My dark blonde hair was tied in a tight painful bun. The only thing i like is my eyes. They aren't noticeable i dont think, but i love my lashes and the intensity of them if you really look. No one ever really looked. I loved the colors that made it up, brown, green, yellow. I sighed and forced my gaze away, sliding on a long sleeved shirt that had a thumb opening at the end. I loved shirts like that. I slid on some comfy galaxy tights, relaxing.
Thats how it started. 4 hours later i heard my kitchen window smash. I gasped and grabbed my umbrella that layed at the front door. I didnt have much in way of weapons since my knives and razors were upstairs, the stairs i dont have access to. Dammit. I could hear its loud foot steps approaching. Approaching from where? I knew it came from the kitchen right? Right?? I could feel it, it was breathing down my neck, it always was, always so tempting to give into and take over. My head snapped to look behind me. Dammit it was usually easier to ignore it, but itd taken chunks, making it harder and harder to ignore. I felt its claws on my face, its icy nails clawing into my eyes as i screamed. I struggled and tried to fight. But i was in too deep, and i can never win against my own demons without seeing them.
