I work at the Musutafu psychiatric hospital for the mentally unwell. I'm determined to make every patient feel cared for and listened to because a lot of the time, the reason why they're so sick is due to lack of love and attention.
Recently there's been an increased spike in patients that revolve around a common well known concept;
Heroes and villains.
This hospital is closely linked to the local medical centre and police station. Due to the high crime rates, we are given contractual permission to investigate and work alongside the police.
Obviously, we cannot withhold evidence as it's a crime.
Research is necessary given that we're specially trained, and there's unfortunately a minority that are.
However I am.
Our research targets the mental and physical abuse of developing adolescents and teens, where manipulative recruiters persuade them that they're on 'their side.' I.e, a respective villain or hero.
This is done by exploiting vivid imagination and skilfully bending it into delusion, resulting in a large spectrum of disorders.
They have to create aliases or 'Hero/Villain names' to hide their identity, while the higher ups give 'missions' to the victims without revealing personal information.
This can easily be compared to common gang activity, two gangs pitted against eachother. They scout for vulnerable teens and groom them with luxury items and sweet words until they eventually trap them with unspoken debt so they're unable to escape.
Who knows what they're doing to these adolescents?
It makes me so angry I could just... snap this pen, yeah.
