"Hello child"

I can't help the startled noise that escapes my lips and I spin around to confront the being that has been tormenting me. My heart begins to pound, faster than it did in past encounters. It feels like ice shoots through my body as an involuntary shudder passes through my body in fear.

I look up.. and up until the tall suit ends just below a slim white neck, stopping before my eyes reach faceless head. I didn't notice I had taken a steps back until the loud snap of a twig under my foot brought me back to my senses. An low chuckle seemed to echo from the trees themselves. Trying to glare, but failing miserably because of how much I'm shaking, I try to stand taller. Which is apparently amusing because another echoey laugh comes from the terrifying being in front of me.

" Why did you come back and stay when you are so obviously terrified?" There was obvious amusement along with the underlying rumble of a predator accompanying the words.

" I-I didn't t-think it would acc-acctually work." I barely get out with a quivering voice, that I hate. I glare daggers at the forest floor.

You know how you can feel if someone is amused or mad or whatever without have to look at their expression? Yeah, I can feel his amusement coming off in waves.

I clench my fists to help steel my nerves but I continue to look at my shoes. "Why are you doing this?" He doesn't answer." why have you been following me, no tormenting me?" Not looking at him makes it easier to be mad, to get louder." Is this all some kind of sick game you play? See how long your little play thing can last before going insane?" I take a breath, my voice getting louder with each question" what did I do to deserve this? Did I make you mad? Did I do something wrong?" Finally I whisper. "Well? Are you going to answer me?"

I look up to see that he had disappeared.

"You fucking Asshole!" I scream out into the vegetation and sit on a fallen log, not caring that it is cold and wet from recent frost. I hold my head in my hands " Dammit. Don't I deserve some answers?"

I found my way back to my house. Of course my parents were home. I'm greeted with a "Welcome back" from dad and a "where were you?" from mom.

" I was just walking around checking out the scenery." I say nonchalantly and head to my room. As I toss my jacket on a chair I look around and sigh heavily." My room is so messy. I should clean it befo-" I spot something that causes my anger to spike yet again.

Its a note.

A nice, elegantly, tri-folded note that is sitting on my in made bed.

I can feel the scowl on my face as I glare at the little paper, willing it to catch fire and disappear. "Urgh!" He won't answer me to my face but will leave and play more games?? I take the folded paper and shove it roughly into my junk drawer. "There, asshole!"

He stands off a few yards where she is, in seen. He didn't know how to answer all of her questions. Her raging emotions puzzled him. Why- if she was scared- was she mad at him? How could she still stand there and yell at him while she was trembling in fear?
