Scourge hissed at the she-cat. What was she doing here? She was probably one of firestars warriors, and was probably going to kill him.
But scourge would fight. He would rather die in battle then be killed pathetically.
"Who are you?" Scourge hissed, putting on his best menacing face. Which wasn't very menacing when your injured.
The she-cat just stared at him. "Scourge..." she whispered "you-you're supposed to be dead".Scourge was annoyed.
"Well I'm not dead-" scourge was cut off by a searing pain in his left leg.
The she-cat snapped out of it. "Let me help you treat your wounds" she said briskly. Scourge was not going to let this she-cat poison him so easily.Did she think he was that dumb?
"Going to kill me with death berrys?" He unsheathed his claws. Even that sparked pain. "What?! No, I'm going to treat your wounds-"
Cinderpelt was cut off by scourge swiping at her. Cinderpelt bounced back. "Listen I do not have any death berrys, or anything else to kill you with." She said, irritation leaking out of her voice. Irritation. Not fear.
Scourge sighed, argueing in his mind.
Let her treat you, it'll make you feel better.
No, I'm not giving up so easily.
She might poison me, who knows if she's lying or not.
But if she treats you, you will feel better.
She's a thunder clan warrior, she'll poison me
But if you can kill her after she "treats you"
I won't be able to kill her if she poisons me first.
Just take the chance!
"You can treat me," Scourge said, careful not to smile. The she-cat nodded grimly, eyeing his various gashes and cuts, not even bothering to hide her face of grimace. "What's your name?" Scourge asked, deciding to ignore her.
"Cinderpelt," she replied, walking toward him and Putting cobweb on his scratches. She was awfully close, and scourge could see the bitter smell of herbs that radiated off her, but scourge somehow found the smell comforting.
Well, comforting until she put some kind of poultice on him. Scourge hissed. "That stings, you fox-heart!" Cinderpelt continued to apply cobwebs, saying, "Scourge, it should sting."
Soon she was done, and scourge wasn't feeling dizzy or anything. His teeth was clenched throughout her treatment, and he had been holding his breath in whenever she treated one of his more severe wounds. But he finally let out the breath he had been holding, and unclenched his teeth, following with a sigh of relief. He found that he was feeling much better already.
And She didn't feed me death berrys! Scourge thought, no feeling of gratefulness ever passing through his tiny body. Scourge, was bloodclans leader, and since he was, he had to be remorseless.
Now it's time to kill this warrior. Even that horrible thought didn't spark in any mercy.
Scourge lashed out, claws unsheathed. Cinderpelt was taken by surprise, she didn't have time to counterattack.
Scourge jumped on the she-cat, raking her shoulders. He was scourge, feared ruler of bloodclan, No one could stop him.
And once I finish this pretty she-cat, her leader should say his goodbyes, because his death won't be pretty-
This she-cat isn't pretty!
Scourge looked down and prepared to take the final blow. Let's see, how should I finish her? Should I rip her throat out? Draw out her death? Torture her with bone- scourge stopped. Bone. Where was bone? He would wound the pretty- not pretty she enough so she couldn't get up, then find bone and finish her with him.
Yeah. That's a good plan.
Scourge scraped her underbelly, but Cinderpelt didn't ever let out a whimper. From the way her face twisted up everytme he scratched her, he could tell that she was in pain. Perhaps maybe not enough to show any signs of suffering though. Cinderpelt had been through a lot in her life, and had probably experienced more pain than this before. Leaving a long cut down one leg, he stood up to admire his work. Cinderpelt was still conscious.
He would go find bone now.
"Listen, don't you dare scream for help,or anything, or you won't live to see the sun tomorrow" Cinderpelt didn't reply, and he couldn't tell what kind of emotions hid under the blue eyes of hers.
Scourge stalked through the undergrowth sniffing for bone. Was he back at twoleg place? "Probably not" scourge murmured.
He searched the whole clearing. The forest surrounding it. Where was bone. Scourge knew that bone might be dead, but he hung onto the hope that bone escaped. That's when he stopped at a stone. It smelled of bone, faintly but still smelled like bone.
He followed the trail, deep into the forest. Until he arrived at a body. And scourge could tell right away that this was not some fox. It was the body of his former deputy.
"Bone!" He almost yelled in joy. The figure was as still as ever. "Bone, come on, I found one of thunderclan warriors!" There was no sign of movement. Scourges smile faltered.
"Bone?" Scourge whispered, hoping he was asleep. "Bone, get up" he demanded worry growing inside his mind.
"Bone, get.up.now!"
Scourge walked over to the limp body. He couldn't believe it. Even though he knew this might happen...
Scourge nosed bone, checking for any sign of breathing.
"No.."he whispered.Bone was dead.
Who would be his deputy now? Bone was his only companion.
Scourge stood up, and started walking toward where he had left Cinderpelt. She would pay! Every thunderclan warrior would pay.
I hope your ready for my wrath..... he thought, and despite his miserable mood, he smiled.
