I'm not exactly sure how I ended up in Sydney, dragging my feet along a crystal clean pathway in a wealthy neighbourhood leading up to a very grand house. This part of Australia is nothing like back at home in London. Everything is full of kangaroo's, sun and beaches. I felt very out of place as I wore a paramore crop top paired with some black ripped shorts and the usual worn down vans. From what I've seen so far the majority of girls here were floral print and cute little accessories well apart from me.

The air is engulfed by the immense summer heat. Trees hung over the ground creating patches of cool, elderly people went about in their gardens, replenishing their plants and perfecting the shapes of bushes. The landscape was full of green but splurges of colour balanced everything out. I took this as a metaphor, that everything may be the same for a while until something beautiful blossoms and creates the most vivid colours.

Knocking on the door, I took a few steps back waiting for it to be opened up. The door opened and I was greeted with my mum, she was quite small and had flawless brown hair that cascaded down to just below her shoulders.

'What took you so long honey?' she asks clearly confused as to why it took me longer than everyone else.

'Just basking in the beauty of this town mum.' I shoot her a smile which she returns back. Being the one of two children, and being the oldest, I got first dibs on the room. Almost instantly I push through my mum and scout for the best room in our new house. Bingo.

The room was painted a beautiful duck blue with white swirls separating the block of colour, one wall was a sheet of glass also known as a window with mint green curtains. In the corner stood a grand double bed with blue and black marbled covers topped off with an abstract lamp gleaming down onto the pillows. Many cute items of furniture lounged across my room and it was just perfect.

Too busy soaking up the beauty of my room, I didn't notice that my mum had crept up behind me and she also marvelled in the decor.

'I was going to take this room you poop head.' Suddenly guilt washes over me and I almost tell her to have the room. I don't reply I simply just scramble for some paper and a pen before writing in bold letters Grace's room

My mum see's the sign I taped to the door and sticks her tongue out at me, she's cute when she wants to be. I return the favour [kinky af omfg sorry] which leads her to walk out of the room and hunt for the second best.

. . . .

Saturday morning and I'm extremely jet lagged, the time difference between London and Sydney is huge, it makes me want to poke my eyeballs out. Never the less I still go outside in hopes to find some extremely hot aussie guys to hook up with. Oh Grace you're such a whore my subconcious mocks me.

Outside, well this is something different. Strolling down my road, I plug in my earpods and walk wherever my feet carry me. I stop outside some rip off concert ticket place, time to put my negotiating skills into use.

The store is full of wide eyes and fangirls willing to sell their families to see these bands. In my point of view I hate fangirls they're whiny and make me want to shoot myself. I mean c'mon who randomly starts crying because of a fucking picture!

I walk over to the cashier and attempt to grab his attention.

'Can I help you?' He asks raising a brow.

'1 ticket to whatever concerts tomorrow, good seats and make sure the band is good.' I order. He disappears to the back for a while before emerging with 3 tickets in his hand, each for a different band, he sets them down on the counter.

'1 ticket for Taylor Swift?'

'Okay one she isn't a band and two she isn't even good!' I laugh

'All time high?' I roll my eyes.

'A rip off band? No thank you, what's the other choice?'

'5 seconds of summer?' He awaits my reaction in fear whilst I ponder for a while

'I'll take them and a backstage pass if you have one, I'll give you $200 for it.'

'Deal' He holds the tickets out as I carefully put them into my back pocket and shake his hand.

I skip home and feel like one of the other girls I see, the flower power squad. I hear a giggle come from somewhere near by me causing me to whip my head around only to see some hot boy whispering to his friend hiding somewhere who is quite frankly ruining his little stalk on me due to his giggles.

Oh my god, a boy giggled, what is this?

The boy emerges from the bushes, well damn he can come out of my bush anyday because just wow.

'My friend here,' he gestures to the boy with a quiff higher than someone on drugs, the same boy who was following me, 'thinks you're and I quote 'mighty fine' so we stalked you.' He rocks back and forth on his heels whilst the quiff boy blushes.

'Ashton for fuck sake!' He stresses. I giggle, yes a fucking rock chick giggled shoot me. Their heads turn to me.

'Soooo, please ignore my friend, my name's Luke by the way.' He walks towards me and goes to shake my hand but instead kisses my hand. I feel butterflies erupt in my tummy. No this can't be happening, you only just met them, they could kill you.

I notice that I should probably introduce myself and so I pipe up, 'my name's Grace and I like hot boys.' I wink making a smirk may it's way on both of the boys' faces. The curly haired boy checks his phone to see the time.

'Erm Luke, sorry to ruin this moment and stuff but we kind of need to go to band practise. Bye Grace.' He smiles a beautiful smile and I feel my knees buckle. They rush off and I head home only to order pizza and watch netflix.

The story of my life everyone.
