Drowning

Dream and George we're playing around in the pool at George's hotel. George was visiting and it was hot as hell in Florida so a pool was nice. Sapnap was there but he didn't wanna get in the water so they didn't make him. They were walking back to there stuff which was on the deep side of the pool. But dream didn't wanna go in for any reason so maybe George would make him?

George's POV
Todays has been really fun with dream. Sapnap is being a party pooper by not getting in the water but at least he's there I guess. Me and dream are walking back to our stuff when I see the deep side of the pool. You know like the 10 feet side. Dream didn't want to go there for some reason. Maybe he was being a baby. So I decided something.

"Hey dream wanna go in the deep end?"

"I- um no..?"

"Oh come on why not it'll be fun!" I say. He looks nervous.

"Maybe not. Let's just go to the shallow end and- WAIT GEOGRE I CANT-" I push him in.

What I expected was for him to come back up and say something like "I hate you" but when he didn't I got a little scared.

"Dream?" Nothing

"Dream come on come up." Nothing

"DREAM THIS ISNT FUNNY!" Still nothing.

"SAPNAP HELP"

Sapnap sat up and his eyes grew wide with terror when he didn't see Dream with me.

"Where's Dream?"

I point to the pool. Sapnap shoots up and runs to the pool.

"GEORGE HE CANT SWIM!" Then he jumps in.

He can't swim? What do you mean he can't- "WAIT GEOGRE I CANT-" swim. He was gonna say he can't swim. Sapnap comes back up with dream in his arms. Dream limp. I help him take him out of the pool.

"CRAP GEOGRE WHAT DO WE DO?" Sapnap yells.

I just stare at him. I might've just killed my best friend.

"DO YOU KNOW CPR?"

I do know cpr. I get on top of dream and start doing chest compressions. I start to tear up. I can't believe I killed my best friend. I plug his nose to give him air then Chest compressions again.

"Come on dream please wake up. Wake up!"

I give him air again. Please he has to wake up he has to. It's just our luck we were the only people at the pool. Please just wake up-

*COUGH COUGH*

Dream sits up and starts coughing. Water spilling out of his mouth.

"Geo-*COUGH*-gre?"

"DREAM IM SO SORRY I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULDN'T SWIM I WAS JUST PLAYING AROUND AND-"

"George I'm fine."

I look at him, tears running down my face. He looks tired.

"YOU ARE NOT FINE DREAM! YOU JUST FUCKING DIED WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?!"

"I'm not dead anymore!" He says with a smile.

I can't help but smile back. Even in the worst situations he can still make you smile.

"But I am done with the pool for the day. Wanna go back to your hotel room?"

"Sure." I say with a smile standing up.
