Bones (ON HIATUS)

Chapter 5

Alrighty, so, this chapter has sad feels in it. I didn't mean for it to be that way, it just kind of happened. Recently, I've been in a bad headspace and I think that's why this chapter came out like this.

So, sorry in advance if it's a little depresso espresso.

Btw I told my mom that earlier (refer to the picture) and she asked if I was a demon and I was like, "I don't? think? so?"

Class 1-A was resting after school in the lounge area of the dorms. They had eaten dinner and completed their homework, well, some of them did. Now, they were relaxing, playing video games and talking about the fight between Bones and Bakugo.

"Man, you got wrecked by Bones!"

"SHUT UP, SHITTY HAIR!" Bakugo roared.

"I mean, he has a point, Bakugo. Miss Bones did put you down rather quickly," Tsu pointed out.

Bakugo growled, stood up and stuffed his hands into his pockets, "I don't have to listen to your bullshit."

"Well I see what you mean when you said he doesn't play nice with others."

Leto and Aizawa walked into the dorms at that moment. They had been walking together from the teachers lounge and he decided to inform her about some of the students. He didn't want Mineta to come and grope her or for her to be hurt by Bakugo's insults or for her to get taken aback by Todoroki's blunt and icy demeanor. (Pun not intended)

"Yeah, he has nicknames for everyone. He'll probably have one for you, sooner or later," Aizawa replied with a lazy tone.

"Oh how fun. My very own insult, yay!"

He gave her an odd look, then shook his head and walked away. Leto shrugged and walked further into the lounge area where the class of 1-A had gathered. Most of them were watching Kirishima and Kaminari play Mario Cart. She glanced at the screen to see that Kaminari was beating the red-haired boy by a landslide. The pro leaned up against a nearby wall and watched them play; reminiscing about the times she would hang out with her friends.

Kaminari won and Kirishima set down the controller with a groan, "Ah man that sucks." He turned and saw Leto and perked up, "Hey Bones! Do you want to come play games with us?"

Everyone turned to see what she would say and Kirishima started giving her puppy dog eyes.

She playfully sighed and rolled her eyes, "I mean, I guess I could come play." The kids started cheering.

"I have to warn you though; I'm not that good at playing video games."

"Did you not play video games with your friends?" Kaminari asked.

She shook her head while sitting down on the floor next to Kirishima, "No, not really. I mean, we goofed around a lot, but we didn't play games. If my friends and I had time to hang out we were usually helping each other study or train. I wasn't the only person to become a hero at a young age. My best friends Abe and Kai became heroes with me."

Midoriya's eyes started twinkling, "What are their hero names? Do you work with them? Can we meet them?"

Leto put a hand on her chin and thought for a second, "I might be able to convince Abe to come and meet you guys and talk to you. His hero name is Kinetic, because he has a hardcore telekinetic quirk, and he thought the name was cool; I must say, he's quite bold for an omega. Anyways, I use to work with him a lot, but when I got the offer to come here we stopped working together."

"What about your friend, Kai?"

Leto gave the boy a sad smile, "You won't be able to meet Kai. About a year ago the three of us went up against a high rank villain that was terrorizing a big city in America. The villain went to attack me and I couldn't move out of the way in time, so Kai jumped in front of me," she looked down at her lap, "I won't tell you what happened, because it's very gory, but Kai didn't make it. I won't tell you what Abe did to the villain either, but let's just say that I never want to make Abe angry; there wasn't anything left for the police to arrest."
