I closed my heart to love and pain,
To the feeling I could not contain.
To tears running down my face,
To lies, humiliation and disgrace.
My heart had felt enough pain,
By loving him I had nothing to gain.
He left me numb, hurt and drained,
By then my soul had begun to fade.
As I thought no sunshine could be,
Thats when faith introduced you to me.
You gave me one look, that left me breathless,
Just then I realized you were my eternal bliss.
Just by chance you broke down my walls,
And love was the only true cause.
