"No! No! Please! I'm not a criminal! Where are you taking me?! Somebody please help!"
Alyssa was dragged back out after the guy, who seemed to be their leader, ordered her to be locked up in a cell. They've been walking for about five minutes now and they were already deep in the woods. After one more minute of walking they walked straight into a clearing, the place didn't look that suspicious since there wasn't anything at all inside the small space of uncovered ground, but only a square looking metal on the ground. As they went near that piece of metal, a small handle was peeking out from one of its corners and one of the men released one of her arm and pulled up the metal to reveal a stairs that seemed to lead below ground.
Alyssa began to panic as she saw this. She didn't like closed spaces as she was claustrophobic and began hyperventilating as they began leading her to the small hole. The two seemed unbothered by her reaction as if they'd witnessed someone doing the same thing before and thought that she was faking it.
Alyssa willed herself to not go unconscious as she wanted to see where they were taking her and make a mental map of it for future escape plans but unfortunately, she couldn't control the panic, shock and hyperventilation she was experiencing and slumped down on the ground as her arms slipped out of the guards hands.
They were still walking down the stairs as she fell unconscious and the girl rolled down and knocked her head on the last step. The guards immediately took action and tried to wake up the girl. As she didn't respond, they took her back to the village and sent her to the doctor then informed their Alpha.
"What happened?"
The Alpha immediately demanded from the two guards. He had personally came to see through the problem and he was out the door where Alyssa was placed, lying down on a hospital bed while the doctor checked how her injuries are.
"Alpha Bane, she seemed to have gone into shock for no reason at all. We thought she was only faking it but then she went unconscious and slipped from our grasp and fell down the stairs."
One of the men responded. His eyes never looking straight into the guys own gaze.
The door to the room slammed open and a slightly pudgy and short man came out. His expression was one of confusion and shock.
"Dr. Whitman how is your patient?"
The Alpha spoke and looked at the doctor, awaiting his response.
"Alpha, sir, I think this lady isn't what you think she is."
"What do you mean, doctor?"
"She's a human sir."
The doctor said the words quietly, as if afraid the Alpha would get mad after he said those words.
Visible confusion appeared on the guys face and his eyes slightly darkened.
"Human?"
The tone of his voice sent shivers down everyone's back. The doctor slightly bowed his head in submission.
"How is that possible?"
His questioning gaze pierced through the trembling doctor.
"She might have come across rogues when she was travelling and their scents rubbed up on her that's why she smells that of werewolves."
The doctor explained still on his submissive position.
"We took a sample of her blood to confirm and she is human."
A growl came out of the alphas throat as he took in the information.
The human is probably a hunter and was separated from her group. It explains why she was running away from something and didn't know she was crossing through werewolf territory.
This is sure to be a problem when the girl wakes up.
The alpha let out a sigh and dismissed the doctor and the two guards then let himself into the ward where a frantic Alyssa was attempting to remove the cuffs from her wrist.
