Reborn as a Sparkling in Transformers Prime

Getting sparkling fever

It has nearly been a month since i was reborn i was currently just sitting on the floor slowly playing with my blocks. I had woken up this morning feeling weak and tired i think i'm sick but i don't want Carrier to know i don't want him worrying about me more then he already does though since his a medic i guess he'll figure it out soon or it will get so bad that i'll have to tell him.

Just half an hour later i started getting really sleepy and i felt extremely hot as if i was standing in a volcano. I whimpered quietly as i realised i was getting a fever 'Primus i thought i didn't have to deal with getting sick anymore but i guess sparkling's are more vulnerable to getting viruses'.My cooling fans turned on trying to keep me from over heating from the fever they were quiet so no one heard them thankfully. 

1 Hour later

It was an hour later and it was the time i was dreading it was time for my energon bottle i would normally be happy to refuel but i wasn't hungry in fact i didn't feel like drinking my energon at all. I just wanted to go into recharge but i knew that wouldn't happen and i also knew that if i did start drinking my energon bottle i'd just stop not long after Carrier turned to me after seeing the time.

Ratchet: "All right Lightning Bolt it's time for your energon bottle"he said as he came over and picked me up walking back over to where he was he grabbed an energon bottle and gave it me. I weakly held it and just stared at it really not feeling up to drinking it i started to feel a little hot again and ended up whimpering that made Carrier look at me."What's wrong Lightning Bolt don't you feel well you always drink your energon without fussing".

I just looked up at him and whimpered again in response as he looked at me he got a worried look in his optics and on his faceplates i could even feel it in our bond.I was really sleepy now and just let go of my bottle letting it fall on the floor i started shivering a little but i felt hot so i just curled up into Carrier's spark-chamber closing my optics whimpering. I felt Carrier put the back of his servo on my forehelm hearing him gasp at how hot it was.

Ratchet: "By the Allspark you have a fever how didn't i notice your weak state until now why didn't you tell me you weren't feeling well Lightning Bolt"he asked looking down at me with worry and concern i just whimpered again in response not feeling like talking today and curled up more into his spark-chamber.

The way i was acting unfortunately only got him more worried he took me to the med-bay and put me on the berth this got the attention of the others as they came to see what was going on.

Optimus: "Ratchet old friend what has happened to get you worried like this"he ask as he looked at Carrier watching as he grabbed the things he needed to find out what was wrong with me.

Ratchet: "Optimus Lightning Bolt didn't drink his energon when i gave it to him and he kept whimpering turns out he has a fever and i need to know what he has hopefully it's nothing fatal"he answered with worry and concern for me in his voice as he looked at Optimus then me on the med-berth i ended up whimpering again when my body started to hurt.

Carrier started doing tests and scans on me to find out what i have everyone else was standing in the room all worried about my health as i kept whimpering every few minutes. Carrier got the resolute and sighed in relief that what i had wasn't fatal everyone in the room looked at him as he came over.

Ratchet: "Lightning Bolt has sparkling fever luckily it isn't fatal and is easily treatable with medicine and plenty of recharge" everyone sighed in relief about hearing the news knowing that i was going to be ok in a few days they all left the med-bay to let Ratchet work on making my medicine.

30 minutes later

Carrier finished making my medicine and came over carefully picking me up again as i whimpered he brought the bottle up to my lips knowing i don't have the strength to hold it myself at the moment knowing i was going to be grumpy for the next few days because of my fever i decided to just drink my medicine with out complaining because i knew i wouldn't get better if i didn't so i just drank it Carrier was surprised i started drinking it right away but just shrugged it off. 

When i finished my medicine Carrier put it down as i proceeded to curl up to his spark-chamber again closing my optics wanting to go into recharge Carrier saw this and made his way out of the med-bay talking to the others for a few minutes then headed to his berthroom. When we got there he slowly and carefully put me in my crib i whimpered and moved around a bit before settling and going into recharge as Carrier watched me.

Ratchet: "Goodnight Lightning Bolt i really hope you get better soon i don't like seeing you this weak"he said with a small sad smile.
