Reborn as a Sparkling in Transformers Prime

And So It Begins

It's now been a full month since i was reborn today started alright i woke up from my recharge Carrier gave me my energon bottle the whole team went to scout for energon i couldn't be left alone at base so Ratchet decided to take me with him. I was enjoying being with my Carrier in his vehicle mode and spending time with him alone for a bit but then everything changed Optimus commend for everyone to head back to base to get a ground bridge to Cliffjumper's coordinates.

When everyone got back to base Ratchet activated the ground bridge when we got to where Cliff was i saw the warship flying off in the distance and whimpered knowing what had happened and hid my faceplates in Carrier's spark-chamber listening to his spark beat. When the others realised no one was here they started talking and looking around i wasn't listening because i already knew Cliff was gone but i was still going to play the innocent sparkling.

Carrier started walking and stopped that's when i heard Arcee's quiet no i looked at her only to see Cliffjumper's horn making me whimper again Carrier rubbed my helm lightly trying to calm my whimpers. Optimus came over asking if Ratchet could track Cliff's life signal Carrier did and gave his own quiet no.

Ratchet: "Cliffjumper's life signal just went offline" he said softly yet gravely this made me whimper more with tears welling up i accidentally let a small sob and sniffle out getting Carrier's attention again he looked at me sadly knowing i had been playing with Cliffjumper the past few days.

After we got back to base everyone went to the top of the base and made a grave for Cliffjumper i was crying into my Carrier's chassis as he held me close rubbing by back in a attempt to calm me down while we all listened to Optimus's speech 

Optimus: "We must not allow our anger over the loss of Cliffjumper to impair our judgement. As of today only we five Autobots remain on this earth. We owe it to ourselves to the memory of Cybertron to any Autobots in any Galaxies seeking safe harbour to humankind. And we owe it to the memory of our fallen comrade to survive" As he was talking Arcee placed Cliffjumper's horn on the pile of rocks he then looked over at Arcee "Arcee-"

Arcee: "If Cliff's gone standing around here sulking wont bring him back. So unless anyone minds i think i'll go back to protecting humankind." with that she transformed and drives off

Ratchet: "Optimus helping humans will only result in more tragedy." Carrier said i was still crying and sniffling into his chassis knowing that i'll never see Cliffjumper again Carrier looked down at me shifting me a bit so he could see my faceplates.

Optimus: "Your opinion is noted." He said he as well looked down at my upset form in Carrier's arms and brought his servo up rubbing my helm to help calm my cry's " You are worried that something will happen to Lightning Bolt in this war. I promise you this old friend no matter what we will all protect your sparkling"

Ratchet: *smiling* "Thank you Optimus" Carrier said as he started nuzzling me calming my cry's as i nuzzled him back purring.

Time skip

Later in the evening Arcee and Bumblebee returned to base reporting to Optimus that they were seen by two human boys while they were fighting vehicon's Optimus said that the cons would be after them and told Arcee and Bee to pick them up tomorrow which Arcee reluctantly agreed to Bee seemed excited about it though.

I for one couldn't wait to meet the kids in person but i'll have to be careful as to not hurt them i already met agent Fowler and boy did he get confused when i called Ratchet Carrier the strange thing is though when i first saw Fowler i was scared of him so scared in fact that i literally ran to Carrier.

To say the least i was surprised by my reaction but the bots weren't i guess it was normal for sparkling's to act that way but what did shock everyone was that i ran to Carrier in stead of crawl and now i can walk i was brought out of my thoughts by Carrier picking me up 'when did he walk into the room?'.
