I am pathetic

Xiao Zhan sat in front of that girl. She was really pretty and mature looking. The atmosphere was a bit awkward since Xiao Zhan got there. She expected him to ask something but when the time stretched between them, she finally initiated a chat.

"Your sister told me that it's your first date."

Xiao Zhan was really embarrassed and it was visible on his face.

"Ah... I didn't mean like that.... It's just.... It's cute. I mean it's good actually." She immediately tried to cover it up and she stuttered.

"Yeah. Maybe" Xiao Zhan tried to make it less embarrassing even if he failed.

"You are a detective right? You must be very brave." She was trying to compliment him for making him comfortable but Xiao Zhan was totally taken aback by that word 'Brave'.

"I... I don't think I'm brave. If I was........" He didn't complete and they both looked at each other for a few more second before Xiao Zhan lower his head.

She felt more and more awkwardness and suddenly someone placed a starbuck on that table. She looked at that person immediately.

"Aw.... Sorry we didn't order this." She said politely to that guy.

"Aw... It's not for you. It's for Zhan ge." Said Yibo before sucking the straw of his own Starbuck in his hand.

Xiao Zhan immediately looked up at that intruder in shock and that lady in front of him was giving Yibo a confused gap.

Yibo smiled at Xiao Zhan before he regard that girl again.

"He don't like that drink you just ordered. He like starbucks and smoothies instead." He said when he sat down on a chair near Xiao Zhan.

Xiao Zhan was still gaping at Yibo and wondering how does he know what he like to drink.

"I'm sorry, you are?" That girl was still polite but confused.

"Oh! I'm sorry. I didn't introduce myself. I'm Wang Yibo..... I'm his......" He glanced at Xiao Zhan before he finish. "..... Friend."

That girl relieved a little and she smiled sweetly at him.

"Hope you won't mind if I'm joined." He said and it wasn't an asking permission because he was already on mission.

"Oh! It's alright. By the way I'm Rose." She extended her hand for a handshake to Yibo but he didn't even glance at that hand.

"Rose? He hate Rose." Yibo said almost immediately and didn't forget to raise his brow at a still gaping bunny.

"Huh!??" That gir was really shocked.

"I mean the flower.... Rose. He really don't like that flower." Yibo said providing a smile towards that girl.

She stated him a few more seconds before she return an awkward smile to him.

"Zhan ge is a little shy and he is a little nervous." Yibo smiled at her again and placed his hand on Xiao Zhan's thigh on that process.
