Chapter 21 - Rainey

Mike didn't stay after the dinner. Truth to his words, he takes our relationship a step back and somehow it warms me inside. Not that I don't like the sex with Mike. It's the best sex in my life. But the way he is serious with our relationship and takes it slow, asking me to have the control in our relationship makes me think that he really wants this to work.

I arrive in the office and start my routine. Mike emerges from his office with a grin. When will I come earlier than this man? He is far from the cocky boss that always comes late than everyone.

"Hi" I say cheerily. Actually it's too cheery for me. Jeez... I'm like a high school student greets her crush.

"Hey" his voice is so sexy. He comes and gives me a box of chocolate. I know this box. It's an expensive chocolate. He knows how to spoil me.

I grin and take the chocolate. I know no one has arrived on our floor yet. I grab his tie and pull him to me. I kiss his lips "thank you" I whisper. I can feel he is grinning widely. I pull back and he touches my lips "sweet" he whispers.

I blush.

"Expect me to give you another small treat tomorrow and every other day."

"What?" My eyes widened.

"It's good to have a morning kiss from you" he winks and goes back to his office while my heart dances another cha-cha dance.

I can get used to this. I look at the chocolate and grin like an idiot for the day.

Today we will have a new executive assistant. His name is Troy. I was surprised when I came down for the interview the other day because there were 2 guys. I looked at the requirements that Mike submitted last week, and up until now the requirements still bring a smile to my face. Mike and his crazy requirements.

Requirements:
1. Man/Woman (as long as they don't have any agenda with me)
2. Smart and sharp
3. Hardworking
4. Fast learner
5. Non degree/degree doesn't matter

P.S: ask Rainey Wright to interview, if she said yes, then hired them.

P.S.S: 2 weeks prior working with Rainey Wright before the worker starts to work with me directly.

I go to the cafeteria to make a cup of coffee for myself. When I come back there is a man standing in front of my desk. His posture is a little bit lanky.

"Hi" I greet him. He turns around. Okay he looks a little bit like Clark Kent with his glasses. And I know this guy. I interviewed him. "Troy?"

"Yes Ms. Wright" ...and the one who keeps calling me Ms. Wright even though I asked him to call me Rainey. But I chose him because he has a great personality.

I smile at him and come back to my table. He is 5 minutes early. Nice. "You already finished with your paper in HR?"

"Yes Ms., Annie in HR wanted to take me for a tour but I rejected. Because I would be late if I go for the tour"

I smile. See, he is a great guy. "Okay, come! Meet your boss"

"Hopefully" he says, a little bit nervous. I laugh "where is the confidence?" I open the door. Mike is working. He looks up and grins at me.

"Mike, this is the new temp for your executive assistant."

Mike looks behind me and smiles. He stands up and comes closer.

"His name is Troy. Troy this is Mike Anderson, your boss"

"Hi Mr. Anderson" Troy gives his hand to shake and Mike shakes it "well, we're not that formal. You can call me Mike"
