A week after Harry and to go back to auror training with Ron, Ginny got a letter off Gwenog Jones, the captain of the Holyhead Harpies. Ginny was overwhelmed. She had liked the all girls quidditch team since she was 6 years old. It had always been her dream to be on the team and to compete in the world cup as a chaser so when she received the letter off Gwenog saying she had seen her play before and wanted her to be the teams chaser, she screamed in happiness.
"Ginny whats wrong?" asked Mrs Wealsey, rushing in from the living room, holding a feather duster menacingly, looking ready to hit someone. Ginny turned round to face her mother.
"OhsorrymumIjustgotaletterformtheHolyheadHarpeies and-" Ginny stopped her fast explanation when her mother stopped her. Her mum had a look at the letter a let off an excited squeal.
"OH GINNY THIS IS GREAT! You have to take it! Opportunities like these dont come about that often and when thye do you have to grab them and run with them." Molly advised as she calmed down. Ginny nodded.
"I know that mum ist just that if you look on the next page it says that I would have to go and live in the house the team shares in Wales. That would mean I would be away from you lot and Harry." said Ginny. Molly nodded and pulled her daughter into her famous rib crushing embrace.
"Ginny if you truly want you and harry to work, distance it nothing but a number. You can both apperate and floo. Me and your father made a longdistance relationship work and I think that if you work at it, you and Harry will work out. He think the world of you dear." Molly said as she looked Ginny in the eyes. Ginny nodded. Her mother went upstairs to change the bed sheets. Ginny went out into the garden. She sat on the grass, thinking about Harry. After a while, she went indoors to wait for Ron and Harry to come home. Hermione would come over later. After ten minuites of waiting, Harry came thought the fireplace, picking Ginny up and kissing her on the lips. Ginny kissed back eagerly. Ron looked at them sighed and walked out to find food. Harry pulled away.
"Hi beautiful. I missed you." he said, still holding on to her waist. Ginny pecked his lips and smiled.
"I missed you too. I have some news." She said as Harry put his bag by the sofa. He sat down and pulled Ginny down into his lap. Harry looked at her and nodded to her to continue.
"I got an offer from the Holyhead Harpies to be the Chaser but it would mean I would have to move down to Wales to train and I dont want to leave you and my family." She finished her sentence, nearly in tears. Harry lifted her chin and kissed her tenderly.
"Gin if its what you want, we can make it work. I love you." Harry sauid looking into Ginny's wide brown eyes. Ginny smiled.
"I love you too Harry. Im gonna do it. Im going to go and follow my dream." she said strongly. Harry hugged her and laughed.
"I knew you would want to go." The couple laughed and Harry picked her up bridal style and carried her into the kitchen, smuelling her and holding her tight.
After dinner.
As all of the family including Bil and Fleur where sat in the living room drinking butter beer, Ginny said she had something to say. The Weasleys and Hermione went silent and looked at Ginny.
"Are you - " Ron began.
"No Ronald I am not pregnant. But I have had an offer from the Holyhead Harpies to be the chaser. And Im going to say yes. But it means I have top move to Wales temporarily ." She finished and sat down. The family tackled her in a hug.
"Gin thats great! When do you leave?" George asked. Gin looked at Harry who nodded.
"If all goes well, in two weeks." The rest of the Weasleys looked at Ginny in shock.
"Well if its what you want Ginny, thats fine. We will all miss you." Mr Weasley said hugging his only daughter. Ginny smiled.
Later as her and Harry lay in bed wrapped in eachothers arms, kissing, Ginny thought about how lucky she was to find someone like Harry and how she would be lost without him to moan and cry and laugh to when she needed to. Harry thought about the same thing before they both settled down in to a deep and comfortable sleep.
