Jones' P.O.V

This was it. This was the perfect opportunity to finally screw over this studio.

I had to do it now.

Tonight.

The music was blaring through the walls and people were scattered across the room, couples at the bar tables and groups rocking their bodies around the dance floor. It was a party in full swing.

We walked through the gatherings of people and walked towards a bar table, each of us awkwardly glancing around. "Guys come on! It's a party... we should be chilling and having fun!" Kenzie exclaimed once she sensed the awkwardness skip around our group. Emily had walked away from us long ago, easily charming her way towards a couple, holding a glass of whatever she was drinking and talking up a storm. Classic Emily.

Summer frowned as Kenzie was pulling her towards the dance floor, clearly not in any mood to dance or goof off. My attention turned to Piper, who was holding Finn's hand, letting him steer her towards a bar table and sitting her down, a smile clear on her face.

Why wasn't that me?

Why wasn't I the one making her smile?

I was about to walk away, but as soon as her chocolate, brown eyes landed on mine, the world turned around.

My heart skipped a beat, and I tried my hardest not to freak out. I love this girl too damn much. She's not going to get hurt on my watch.

Oh who am I kidding. I can't do this. I can't hurt this team, this girl. Sean can find someone else to do his dirty bidding for.

I walked over to an empty bar table and looked around hesitantly, just to make sure no one was listening or watching what I was about to do. As soon as I sensed I was in the clear, my hand slithered down to my pants and I reached for my phone, dialing in Sean's number and placing it to my ear.

There was no sound for about a minute, until I heard a soft click, someone evidently picking up the phone, "Heyyyy Jones-" "I'm going to make this extremely quick Sean. Im done."

I couldn't hear anything on the other side of the line.

"What do you mean you're done?" He nervously laughed.

Was he serious right now? "You heard me. I'm done doing your dirty work. Find someone else," I breathed in, looking around the room to see if anyone was watching.

"Jones... I expected more of you than simply giving up. I'm very disappointed in you," he stated in a suspicious manner.

As soon as he said that, I glanced across the room at two guys staring daggers into my eyes. What were they up to? What was Sean up to?

"Such a shame Jones. You see... I kind of expected this would happen so I made... different arrangements. I had high hopes for you. Good luck in the future," then the line went dead.

No. No. "Sean? Sean!"

I looked around, my eyes blazing with fire. My eyes automatically turned towards Piper. Oh no. That was a mistake.

Shit.

I shouldn't have done that.

As soon as the realization hit me, the guys that were previously eyeing me turned to Piper's direction. No, if Sean was interested in hurting those I cared about, he had another thing going for him.
