"Oh, Serenade, we've missed you so much!"

Sarang glances back before shutting the door, blinking in surprise, "How did you find me?"

Illuminated by the moonlight stands two silhouettes, a tall slender woman and a slightly shorter teenage boy. Dark hair, vibrant eyes, and clothed in expensive brands, they seem to come straight out of a Twilight novel. Their looks would be captivating to everyone else, but the only thing Sarang see's is the dangerous aura that surrounds them.

"Come on, you know it wasn't that hard." The teenage boy snorts.

Sarang's eyes remain unwavering as she stares them down, "Then why did you wait so long?"

The tall woman glides over and hugs Sarang before she can react, "When you left we were devastated! I couldn't bring myself to seek you out knowing you hated us! But now we're here! Reunited once again with our Serenade!"

The younger woman pushes her away, putting space between them, "Stop calling me that. My names Bin Sarang now."

Sarang's mother crosses her arms uncomfortably, not used to such rejection.

Her brother chuckles, "Sarang? Doesn't that mean love? You going soft on us now?"

Sarang turns her eyes on her brother, "Well, it's a better name than Randell."

"ITS BEEN YEARS AND YOURE STILL MAKING FUN OF MY NAME?!"

"Enough bickering. We have more important things to discuss."

Randell huffs and rolls his eyes plopping down on the window sill.

Sarang crosses her arms, "What do you want, Ilene?"

Instead of answering the woman freezes staring at something behind Sarang, "Oh my, who is this?"

Sarang furrows her eyebrows and turns around to find a pale Jeongin. He's frozen in the door way, gripping the handle with white knuckles. His eyes flicker around the room in of confusion.

Sarang turns back around as her mother signals Randell. The boy lunges towards the maknae with a ferocious smile. A yelp escapes Jeongin behind Sarang as she jumps in front of him protectively. Her hands catch his fist inches in front of her. They struggle against each other's strength. Their glowing eyes glaring at each other.

"Let. Go." He growls.

Her voice shakes slightly from holding her ground, "No, I'll take care of him, on my terms." Sarang's eyes move to her mothers.

Ilene hesitates in curiosity, "Stop, Randell. Let Serenade get rid of the boy."

He backs off with a snarl and goes back to his window sill, "You're weaker than I remember."

Sarang breathes a little haggard and wipes the sweat from her lip. She turns back around, Jeongin flinching at her movement. Her heart sinks slightly at the look of fear when he looks at her.

Her voice fills with sadness as she brings her hand to her glasses, "I'm sorry, Jeongin. I never wanted you to see me like this."

Jeongin's face relaxes into a smile as her red glowing eyes meets his. His eyes sparkle in adoration. She holds his hands in hers and he grips them desperately. Disgust at her forced persuasion runs through her, but she pushes it away.
