Remus Lupin wasn't always shown love the way it was meant to be shown.
He hid his feelings and didn't believe in a lot of things.
Because of this, he came off a lot more depressed than he really was.
When he had met someone that he thought would change that, he fell in love.
When that someone ended it after a week- it got hard.
It was hard to act fine around the others, it was hard to act like everything was all sunshine and rainbows.
The world was a dark place.
Something about the hug Lily gave made Remus feel like there'd be hope.
that maybe the world would go his way for once.
Maybe everything would be ok.

day three and we found a sunflower field. there's been some bumps in the road so far, both literly and mentally, but I think everything will be ok in the end.
