"You make it seem so easy,"
Hoseok sighed. Fumbling with the tag on Yoongi's black tie. The soft fabric between his fingers beginning to feel rough from the continuous touch.
Yoongi hummed, his warm large hands settled on Hoseok waist, the fabric of Hoseok's puffy blouse no obstacle for the warmth of his touch, and soon a light squeeze follows, making the younger's lips twitch into a small smile.
The contrast between strong arms against Hoseok's skin to the warm touch of the other's flesh hand never ceased to elicit a shiver of pure bliss.
Hoseok's eyes perched up again to find Yoongi's deep dark eyes that reminded him of both the shining stars in the clear night sky and the very bottom of the deep ocean at its calmest, already focused on him with an adoring tenderness.
"Fixing my tie?" Yoongi questioned—a playful tilt to his smile and a soft chuckle parting the younger's lips.
"No," Hoseok sighed, the smile on his lips remains as he placed the long end of the tie over the shorter end.
Yoongi's smile twitched wider, the amusement bright as Hoseok engaged in his fifth attempt—shifting the two stubborn ends, but it still didn't add up. The knot refused to come out as perfect as when his boyfriend does it on his own.
Hoseok had suggested to do it for him—a romantic gesture like no other, but to his misfortune, it wasn't a skill he possessed very well, and with the continued struggle on the sixth attempt, it proved that there were things even google couldn't teach.
He'd have to go back and rewatch those videos for a certainty.
A smile danced around his lips before he sighed in defeat, "Well, that too,".
Heartfelt laughter like no other bubbled past Yoongi's lips. Pretty gummy smile and shiny small teeth. Hoseok's gaze settled on his face, the glee painting every line of Yoongi's features as he winds his arms around him and pulled the younger flush to his chest.
His adoring smile steals Hoseok's breath away even a year later, and when his lips press to the younger's next, in a way that allows Hoseok to taste the love and laughter right off the lips—slightly chapped and bitten, Hoseok melted in his arms. His lean legs give out from under the older and a breathless sigh fans across his lips.
"You make it seem so easy,"
The tremble in Hoseok's words doesn't go unnoticed by Yoongi. His eyes raise to the younger's, glossed over with tears and a worried frown pinched at his brows, lips slightly turned into an upside down triangle.
"Doll?" Yoongi whispered softly, a question laced in the way he spoke the pet name he reserved solely for him.
Hoseok's fingers traced along the fancy shirt buttons, the tie a mess, but his gaze never wavered from the older's. Eyes trained on his, reading every single word of his concern, his worry, his love.
A love Hoseok witnessed shinning brighter for each and every day, while he continously wondered how it was possible for him to be so lucky.
How had Hoseok ended up with Yoongi loving him so deeply, he felt it to his bones? How had Hoseok gotten so fortunate to love him in return? Similar questions and thoughts never-endingly filling his mind.
"Doll, what's wrong? Why're those beautiful eyes of yours filled up with tears?" Yoongi spoke just a bit underneath a whisper, one hand coming up to brush at the glossy eyes.
Hoseok blinked. Raindrops of tears latching onto his lashes, and his lips quivered from the overwhelming emotions washing over him in a wave so tender—so soft—so fragile it flooded every part of him until he could no longer keep his head above water.
