[It's been 84 years... Also, the interior of the farm is all my imagination, but I wouldn't exactly say that none of it is canon]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Scrutinising through the remarkably microscopic crevice, a blotch of black was all I could identify.
A demon.
That disgusting onyx rag of theirs was something that could be identified from miles away.
"Don't worry, we're getting out of here"
Shuffling can be heard beside me as I looked to my left, only to see Liber staring straight at me. But, it wasn't those types of stares that cause your blood to run cold or the ones that send shivers running down your spine.
No.
None of that.
It was a heartwarming gaze that could melt your heart no matter how cold it was, a gaze that was filled with heartfelt sympathy.
"I know what you're thinking, you're probably killing yourself over the words that Andrew said, but don't worry, none of the things he said was your fault,"
He wasn't wrong.
But he wasn't right either.
Ever since that guy pointed out that everything was all my fault, I couldn't stop thinking about it.
And I couldn't do anything but laugh at the painfully obvious truth.
Isn't it obvious?
Isn't it obvious that it was my fault that everything is going downhill?
That everyone is in a miserable spot.
And it's all because of me.
The person who tried to escape without her family.
He knows this.
So how can he be so calm?
How can he say that it wasn't my fault?
"How are you fine with everything? Why are you even here? Why do you talk to me? I bring misfortune to everyone around me so I suggest you stay away from me. I'm no better than a demon so just go,"
A heavy and tedious silence filled the room.
sigh
