Laeci POV:
A few weeks had gone by and I had gotten used to being around Rod all the time.
I been feelin real guily about leaving Alana at home to look after the kids all by herself lately.
"Rod can you take me home?"
"Yeah, you need to get some clothes or somethin?"
"No, Im going home to be with Alana and the kids for a while."
"I'ight, just get some sleep."
"Okay, I'll try." I said as I got up from my seat next to him on the sofa to get some of my things.
We weren't together officially although sometimes I really wish we were.
Rod still flirts a little with other girls sometimes but he never get away with it because I always get onto him about it, we act like a married couple sometimes.
Roderick POV:
I was kinda sad that she was leavin.
Usually when a girl come over im rushin her ass out or tryna make up an excuse to get they ass to leave.
For some reason I just liked havin her around.
I liked her an it wasn't no secret, I just aint know how to let her ass know.
She most definitely had a real nigga feelin some type'a way.
Usually these bitches'a let me fuck after our first conversation over the phone, but wit her I still ain't hit and it's almost been a month.
I ain't mad though, I can except that she just ain't the type.
Ion really wanna just do her like that anyway, and that's some new shit for a nigga like me.
We hopped in my tahoe and the question I been tryin to forget was eatin at my brain.
"Why, you dont never get no sleep when you at home?" I asked seriously, lookin her upside the head.
"Rod don't worry about it, please." She said with worried eyes.
"I'ight." I said surrendering as she slid out the car.
"Imma call you, I'ight?" I said as she shut the door.
Laeci POV:
I wanted to tell him so bad why but I just couldn't.
I got into the house and saw Alana sitting on the living room floor with Mace teaching him to tie his shoes.
She looked at me with a surprised look on her face, I guess I have been gone that long.
"Hey, Lace." We chuckeld, only because she never called me that she was only calling me that because she had Mace's shoe laces in her hand at the time.
"Hey guys, what y'all doin."
"Nothin, Lana teachin me how to make bunny ears with my shoe strang." Mace answered.
"Where's Alaya?" I asked.
"She right there." Alana said. I looked over to the couch and saw Alaya balled up in a blanket taking a nap.
I walked over and lightly lifted the sheet from her head and spoke into her ear.
"Alaya, Alayaaaaaa." I whisper yelled.
"Laeci?" She asked confused.
"LAECI!" She yelled as she threw her arms around me.
"Wassup Lay, I missed you."
