Hi! I'm Lux. This is my story of falling in love, and giving that up for somebody else. I guess I need to begin somewhere! The second day of seventh grade. I was a little girl back then. I still hadn't had my first kiss, so I was very inexperienced. Let's just say, I did know my taste in guys back then! I looked around the art room for a new friend, a crush, anybody. I look over, and see the new kid, Cody, talking with somebody I've never seen before. This guy took a moment to look me in the eye. And oh lord was he amazing!! I remember this all too well. His eyes the color of the sea, melting away into my own, and crinkled cutely when he smiled. Shaggy, brown hair topped his head, and perfect lips, a square shaped nose, big hands........... He was a god. A Greek god with the seductive power shining in his big blue eyes. Anyway. I sat down quickly, noticing his eyes burning on me. He was so interested, and I could so tell! Every once in awhile, I turned to look at him, and he was staring at me every time I looked. It was an intense, burning stare that melted my insides. I had a crush!!
Before then, I had a crush on a guy named Dayton Bowey. He was also amazing, and I fell in love with him because of the year before. I was new that year, and he was a good friend of mine. We had quickly bonded within singing and music. We did that all the time. So yes, I fell in love. But that simmered down just a little becoming face to face with the Greek god for the first time.
Two days later, I found out his name is Noah. Noah Christensen. Perfect Greek god name. I quickly send the rumor of my crush so he can notice. He says to a friend to tell me that he already knew, and that he liked me in return. But things were moving too slow. I was becoming closer with Dayton faster than Noah. So, I gave up on Noah, and started going out with Dayton. A day after we ended up going out, Noah gets the nerves to just walk up, and sit down at our table of girls. For me. He completely ignored all the other girls and just talked to me! It was so dreamy. We just did our artwork, and chatted it up. I swear, we could've gone out if I wasn't dating Dayton. He and I automatically hit it off. And from there, I thought we were eventually going to go out. Boy, was I wrong!! He ended up figuring out what was going on at our school. He became insanely popular. But he still sat at our table. On that day, when he came over to our table, I felt a ping that I had never felt before, and it felt right.
