Jey was turning 19 this month and unlike every other grown teen he had no job, no car, no house no nothing. He was still living with his mother and honestly, his mom had enough of it.
"Jeyjey honey, come here please." His mother called out to him. "Yes, mom?" JJ questioned.
"I love you honey but you need to get a job.." his mother sighed
"Mom literally no one is hiring right now" Jj frowned
"The pool is. Isn't that where your old pal Benji works at?"
Jeyjey laughed at the word "pal" Benji was never a pal to JJ
"Okay fine mom ill look into it.."
Jeyjey walked into the pool entrance. The smell of rubber pool toys and chlorine was all he could smell. He stepped closer to the lifeguard tower hoping Benji wasn't working today and to JJ's luck, he wasn't. Jey let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.
"I'm here for the lifeguard Position," Jeyjey said happily.
"Oh thank God we needed more lifeguards. I'm James" James said holding his hand out
"I'm Jey!" JJ said shaking Jame's hand.
"When can you start Jey? We could really use you tomorrow."
"I can start tomorrow," Jey said with a smile
"Great! We could use a cutie like you." James said with a wink and walked over to a kid to help him.
