*inspired by "Lay me down" by Sam Smith and John Legend.
Person A works in the police/army so is very dangerous.
Person But get worried that their partner won't be coming home and always waits for them to come home or leaves something indicating that they are home and safe.
But one day, A, gets injured on the job and B gets a call from the office stating that A is gravely injured and might die so B rushes out immediately, not even hanging up the phone.
B reaches the hospital and goes to A's room.
A is a mess. They're just lying there, motionless and B sobs and lays next to A, holding their hand. B then softly sings "lay me down" And it's so sad and gut wrenching that the doctors and nurses don't have the heart to ask B to leave.
ENDING ONE:
By the last line of the song, A flat lines and B just S C R E A M S and the doctors and nurses rush in and a nurse takes B out of the room while B just stares at A with tears.
ENDING TWO:
After B finished singing and just is laying next to A, A moves and B jumps out and gets a doctor.
