"Scared I'm gonna break your heart?" The dark haired girl said with a cold smirk spread across her face.

Adrien shook his head and stood up, stumbling backwards. "Marinette- get ahold of yourself! I know you! You're better than to let Hawkmoth control you!" He said, reaching for the door behind him. He knew he wasn't stronger than one of Hawkmoth's akumatized victims without Plagg.

How was he gonna get out of this?

If he transformed in front of her then she could tell Hawkmoth about his secret identity.

But, he didn't have a great chance of getting away. Marinette- or, rather ladybug..was really smart and always knew what she was doing. But, she wasn't ladybug anymore.

That Akuma brought out the worst in her.

She was practically driven by her sadness and anger..

And..it was all his fault.

His own fault.

It was his fault Marinette got akumatized. His fault she was now a victim under his hold. How would he fight his partner? He couldn't.

He loved her.

Adrien opened the door behind him and started sprinting through the hall, looking behind his shoulder when he heard a cackle.

"I'm not Marinette anymore!~ I'm heart breaker, and I'm gonna make you feel exactly how you made me feel, Adrien agreste!" Heartbreaker screamed, tapping her earring with a finger. Soon, something bright appeared out of her earring. It was a small sort of weird wand.

Adrien didn't wait for her to use it. He sprinted into the bathroom and into a stall, biting his lip. His chest heaved up and down as he stood there for a second, leaning against the stall while he caught his breath. That was the fastest he's ran in a long time.

"P-Plagg..claws out-" Adrien mumbled, opening the stall and sprinting out in his signature black, leather costume.

"Hate break it to you but Adrien's not here so..how about I show you how I feel about Hawkmoth? It's not pretty, I'll tell you that," Chat noir said with a small laugh, grabbing his stick and twirling it with his right hand, putting his left out in front of him in a battle stance.

"Grr! You idiot!" Heartbreaker screamed in anger, stomping her foot on the small fence she stood on that went along the second floor.

It was hard to believe she was once a warm, and kind hearted girl.

The girl he secretly loved.

God- it was so obvious too! How did he not notice?

'Okay Adrien, keep it together. You're gonna get her back...I hope-' He told himself, his eyes mixed with both fear and confidence.

Heart breaker aimed her want toward the black cat, shooting a small beam at him. Chat noir's eyes widened and he quickly pulled himself to the side and started running when more beams followed the first one.

He needed to get out of here! There were people here. Heck, his friends were here.

"If you want to hit me then you gotta catch me!~" Chat said with a smirk, extending his staff and pushing himself out of the top of the school, running along rooftops and looking behind him.
