Backstory
She moved to New York for her fathers military work at the age of 7 and grew up with Casey being a close friend of hers, her name was from her mother, who moved away after Alex turned 3(thats another story all together), the two kept in touch as Alex got older and more sufficient, her father passed away when she was 17, so she moved in with Casey, but one day, while she was out, she was hit with Mutagen, and fell into a 2 week long coma like state, after she awoke from her long sleep, she began to mutate at her own will, after about 6 months of this, she grew depressed, and got anxiety, but she went to therapy for it and soon, signed up for channel 8 news, she had been working with channel 8 news for about 7½ months when she met the turtles, and had told them her story 3 times, they've been friends since.
