Chapter 39 || Portland

__Ballora's POV__

"William, your bowtie is not tied properly!"

I sigh as I tie my ex-husband's bowtie.

After doing so, I turn to my children who were all dressed up.

"Can't wait to see grandma's house!" Chris exclaims.

"And I can't wait to see Dipper and Mabel as well!" Elisabeth exclaims.

The twins were invented since mom wanted to see our friends/allies. Well, that's what the twins are, so I thought, why not?

We all leave the house and meet up with Dipper and Mabel.

"You look very nice Mrs. Afton!" Dipper compliments me.

"Thank you," I reply.

We all enter the car and drove away to Portland.

We all left the car at the parking lot of my giant house, more like a mansion, and saw my brother waiting for me. Charles had blonde hair but did not have a special hair color like me. He wore a grey suit and black shoes.

Once he saw me, his baby blue eyes shimmered in surprise.

" Sis!" He yells as he runs towards me.

"Charles!" I shout. He tackles me lovingly. Not wanting to come off as an awkward uncle, he gets up immediately and greets his nephews and niece.

"You must be Michael! And Chris! And Elisabeth!" He exclaims. He then turns to William.

" My brother in law! I thought you died?!" He asks, confused.

"It's a long story..." William mumbles.

"And who are these two?" Charles questions, pointing to the twins.

" I'm Mabel and this is Dipper! We're good friends of the Afton family!" Mabel introduces herself.

"Well now that the introductions are made: come in!" He announces. We all enter the mansion and the second one to welcome us was my very annoying sister Serene.

She slid down the handle of the staircase. She wore a pink dress and a furry scarf. She had feathers on her hair in the same color. Her hair was gingerish-brown. She did the catwalk as she approached us.

"Greetings family~" She said confidently before opening her eyes and facing me. "HAH?!" Serene exclaims, shocked.

She puts her hand on her head and starts shouting stuff as me, my family, and the twins stared at her in confusion.

"HOW ARE YOU MY SISTER?! LAST TIME I SAW YOU YOUR BREASTS WERE AVERAGE! HOW DID THEY GET SO BIG! DID YOU GET PLASTIC SURGERY????" Serene was always panicking about looks and when someone was better than he rin looks, she'd tell them to stop, so this was normal for me.

She was about to touch my no-no-zone to see if they're real when I slapped her hand off.

"You know I'm not fond of fake beauty Serene. Where's mother?" I ignore her attitude and ask.

"Sweetie! Everyone's here!" Mother arrived in the foyer. "Good to see you again." She turns to Mabel. "I recognize you, I saw you the last time I came over."

"Yep! This is my twin brother Dipper!" Mabel says.

"Well, then, dinner is ready, come!"

We were escorted from the foyer to a bunch of hallways, then finally, the dining room. It was dark and the ambiance was vivid thanks to the candles.
