Our Story

Chapter 3

*Be warned before you read this chapter. It might suck because I'm having a hard time writing because of things that happened between my ex. I will try to write this chapter to my fullest and if you like more just vote on this chapter and comment, more.

I was so nervous. Like I said earlier Sophie stood right next to me as we got out of the car. Jamie looked at me giggling because of my face being all red. Sophie looked at me and said, "Are you okay?"

"U..m, yes. I am just really sweaty and hot now with this long sleeve on." I said as I stuttered.

"Oh okay. Why don't you take it off unless you don't have a shirt on under it." She said to try and help my fake problem out.

"Ohh yeah I have a shirt under, but I'll be fine I just need to cool off outside. I got hot because of the car ride."

"Oh please." Jamie said as she looked at me laughing.

"Seriously, Jamie shut up." I walked over to Jamie and punched her in the arm.

               -10 Minutes Later-

"So what do you guys all want to do?" Sophie asked everyone.

"Why don't we go into the corn maze." One of the girls that I don't know said.

"Yeah we can Sidney. What does everyone else want to do."

"I'm going to stay out here and hang you guys can go. I have to calm myself down before I go in and work my brain." I said to everyone.

"Are you sure?" Sophie asked.

"Yeah I'm sure." I walk around as they started walking to the corn maze and walked to the hay town that you can climb and went go sit on it. Once I sat down I realized who was behind me the whole time I was walking to the stack, Sophie. "Hey I thought you were going into the corn maze."

"Oh yeah I was, but I didn't want to leave a friend out here by themselves, especially with weirdos around here." Sophie said softly.

"Oh no, go. Go hang out with your other friends. I'll be fine. Honestly I'm pretty sure I'm ready to go in."

"Are you sure because we can sit out here before we go in." Sophie said concerned.

"Yeah I am sure."

"Well let's go then. They are probably so far in already that we can just go by ourselves if you like." Sophie offered to me the options.

"Yeah I would like that. Plus I'm really good at navigation through crazy areas. I got this" I said so confidently looking at Sophie nervously.

We walked into the corn maze and I didn't know what I was doing or thinking. Saying was good at navigation, ha..ha, yeah right. I was just trying to look cool for her. It was very awkward at first because I didn't know what to say to her, but all I could think about was holding her hand. I wanted to so bad that I had to put my hands in my pocket just so I wouldn't be tempted.

"So what do you like to do out of school or even in school?" I asked Sophie.

"Well I like to hang out with friends, and not a lot of know this but I play an instrument, the flute. I like math a lot and that is what I'm good at. Well really I'm good at writing, but yeah." Sophie said as she looked at me.

"Oh nice, sounds like you are really busy with your time. Oh looks like a check mark ahead." I said as I walked faster to the check mark to look. For a little while it was silent and had some more conversations and as we talked me I got more comfortable around her. I felt a connection between us. She is so beautiful and I wish she liked me the same way I like her.

-20 Minutes Past-

"Finally we are out!" Sophie said excitedly.

"Yeah we are. Oh there's your friends over there." I said sadly.

"They're our friends. You are my new friend and I learned a lot about you. I see a future for us."

As the night went by and it go darker out. My life started to change and feel differently, like something is going to change for better or worse, I don't know, but in the mean time I need to enjoy this girl's party.

We got back to the house after being at the corn maze for almost two and half hours. We had some pizza, and played some games. We then watch a movie and it was a romantic movie, but I wasn't interested because it was a movie about the girl trying to get the guy, which the guy wasn't even hot. I had no where to sit, so Sophie offered me to sit next to her and she moved over. I laid down because I was tired and didn't really want to watch the movie. After a few minutes I pasted out on the floor.

-Next Morning-

"Holy crap my back hurts." I said to myself because everyone was still kind of asleep.

"Yeah same." Sophie said as I looked over. "How did you sleep though?"

"I slept okay, I normally don't sleep so early, but I let it slide this time because I've worked a lot. How did you sleep?"

"Pretty good I guess. Just a little sore." She said in pain.

"Yeah I get it." I looked around and everyone else was still asleep. I look back at Sophie and said, "You know I like you don't you?"

"Yeah I kind of figured. To be honest and no one knows besides my mom, but I'm gay too." She said proudly.

"Really?" I was shocked.

"Yeah, and I have a crush on you too."
