I woke up and felt Dan's face nuzzled into my neck. I smiled. I shook him awake. "Dan, it's Saturday." He groaned and looked up, seeing his arms around me. He pulled away quickly. "Oh my god, I'm sorry." I smiled. "It's okay." He blushed while getting up. "Do you mind if I take a shower?" I shook my head. "You can." He nodded and jumped into the shower. I got changed into normal clothes and Dan walked out with his hair wet. He dried it and I scared him by running my fingers through it. He yelped and jumped. "Phil!" He yelled, whacking me with his sleeve. I smiled. "So, do you want to go anywhere today?" He shrugged. "I mainly like to stay home." I smiled. "Same." He curled back up in the duvet and switched on F-R-I-E-N-D-S. I smiled and sat down.

We ended up watching a whole season and Dan switched off the TV and yawned. I smiled. "Where did you move?" I asked. "An apartment about 10 minutes away from here. I nodded. I felt his fingers run across my hand and I slowly flipped my hand over and held his. He smiled, messing with his own hair. "Well, um, you are very...er...what's the word...upfront..." I laughed. "Thanks." He stared at me and gripped my hand tighter. "I-" My mum walked in and saw me holding his hand. "Do you two wan- Aww!" I blushed, pulling away quickly. Dan did the same but hid his face. "Wh-What were you asking?" I asked as the blush rose higher. "What do you two want for lunch?" She asked, still awing internally. "Pizza." Dan nodded. She walked out. "Your mum is nice." "I know."

I had lied down and Dan set his head on my stomach slowly, to not hurt me. I took my arms and wrapped them around his stomach, holding him tight. He grinned, and his eyes darted up to me. "Does your mum know about...you know..." I shook my head. "Nope. But I can assume she thinks so now." Dan laughed, playing with my fingers. His hand was warm. "Pizza!" She yelled out. We walked downstairs. We sat down and my mum started talking. "Phil, are you gay?" I choked on the pizza and Dan laughed. "Um...y-y-yes..." Her face lit up. "I knew it!" I blushed. "Are you two dating?" She asked. We shook our heads. "No, we are just friends..." She raised her eyebrows and I blushed. "Well, I do have to admit," Dan started. "Phil is pretty cute." I hid my face and giggled quite loudly.

My mum had gone out and said she would be back around 10. It was 5 right now. Dan was playing with my hair while we were sitting on the couch. "Dan," I whispered. "Am I really cute? Or did you just say that?" He smiled. "You are cute." I blushed. I felt him grip my hand tighter. "Want to go out to the park?" He nodded, linked our hands together, and we walked to the park.

"Hey look! It's the faggots from school! Aw, look. And they're holding hands." He said, glaring. That had attracted the attention of a few people. Dan held onto me tighter. They started to grab my wrist when a woman pulled him away. "Don't make fun of them!" A little girl chimed in. "Yeah! They can love who they want!" They glared and stormed away. They resumed back to what they were doing before. We sat down together, at my favourite tree. "This is nice..." He whispered, rubbing circles around my knuckles. I smiled. "Can I go over to your flat...sometime?" He smiled and nodded.

I turned on my phone and looked at the time. 6:42 I smiled, looking over at Dan, who seemed to be entranced. I shook his shoulder slowly and he smiled. I smiled back, pulling him close. He leaned his head on my shoulder and started humming something. I brushed my fingers through his hair making him yawn. "Want to go back to my place, Dan?" He nodded and stood up.

"So, Phil, what do you want to watch?" Dan asked, flipping through the channels. I sat next to him and shrugged. "Whatever you want." Dan pulled me close to him, digging his fingers into my sides. I yelped a bit, and he loosened. "Sorry." I giggled. We heard a loud knock on the door. "I'll get it." Dan said.

I was afraid for him to go down alone, so I followed him. "Daniel Howell where have you been?" His father, I presumed, yelled. "You told me to leave, so I left, got an apartment, went to school, met Phil, and I'm staying here for a few days." His father glared. "Where is Phil?" He bellowed. I shyly stepped out. "Does he have a mother living here?" Dan nodded. "She is out at the store." He glared. "I should have known you would become friends," He spat out. "With another fag." I gasped. "I'm gay, so what?!" He glared. "How the fuck did you find me anyways?" Dan yelled. "GPS on your phone." That was weird. "Dad what the hell?!" Dan pulled out his phone and turned it off, so it wouldn't be able to track him. "Fine, bye." Dan slammed the door shut angrily. But suddenly, he broke down into tears.

I gasped. "Dan, sweetie, it's alright..." Did I just call him that? I shrugged it off. He nuzzled into me, and my collarbone was wet from his tears. I pulled him close, pecking his cheek. "I love you, Dan. Don't worry about him." He nodded, pulling me closer. I heard the back door open and called my mum over. "Yes, what's wron- Daniel, are you alright?!" She bent down and rubbed his back. "M-My dad went here...a-and yelled at me...called Phil a fag..." She rubbed my back. "It's okay..." She whispered. "Why don't you go and get yourself a shower, it'll help." He nodded and we walked into my room.

"Your mum is nice." He mumbled.

I smiled. "Thanks."

He hopped into the shower and I was left sitting alone in my room, waiting for him to get out. I heard the water stop so I waited by the until he walked in.

He stepped in and I swear, he looked like an angel. He was wearing one of my old shirts, a pair of boxers, and his hair was wet, which made it a bit curly on the tips.

"Something wrong?"

I shook my head and continued staring at him. He giggled, sitting down next to me and stroking my hand subconsciously. I giggled and held onto it, feeling it warm me. I brushed some of the wet hair that had stuck to his forehead off, and he slowly grabbed my wrist and held my other hand. I stared into his eyes. It was a bit tense. He let go, shaking his head. "I'm sorry, Phil."

I didn't reply.

We were playing on his laptop when I heard a knock on my bedroom door. Dan moved over and continued to play the game, while I opened it.

She looked a little distressed when I opened it. "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked. She set a letter in my hands, which had already been opened. I took out the paper and noticed Dan walk up behind me and set his head on my shoulder and read it to me.

Ms. Lester,

It is very sad that we have to inform you that your son, Phil Lester, had been removed from the school. Several complaints of your son have been filed saying that he is very rude, starts fights, and vandalizes school property. We knew that Dan Howell is a friend of your sons and he never said that he had a mother or father when joining. We have noticed that he goes along with Phil, doing the same thing, and we have had him removed also.

Regards,

LHS

I felt myself tear up. "Phil, I know that you never did these things. The complaints must have been a joke. I'm sorry." I nodded and felt Dan hug me from behind. "We can try to get you into another school?" She asked. I simply shook my head.

"It would be the same again."

I was awake all night, thinking of what had happened. Dan was sleeping next to me again, with his arms around my waist, which gave me a bit of comfort. I sighed. At least this was better than going to school.
