Together With You

The Train Ride

I sat down inside an empty compartment, a girl entered too and sat down in front of me. It didn't look like she wanted to talk at all so I just sat there with her in complete silence.

A blond haired looked inside the compartment, but saw there were already two girls here and continued walking.

After a minute the girl said something.

"I'm uh, I'm Light" the girl quietly said.

I looked at her, she had long brown hair that went to her waist. Her green eyes nervously looked at me.

"I'm Allea" I said, I pushed my hair back behind my ear. Somehow she made me nervous.

To say the girl was cute was an understatement.

While I was just sitting here, my shoulder length white hair all messy. All of the sudden I felt regret about not showering today.

" That's a..Nice name" Light said. She was awkwardly playing with the sleeves of her sweater.

"Thanks," I was planning on saying something about how cute she looked or something but that felt too awkward.

"So, your real name's Light?" I asked. It's kind of a weird name.

"Yeah..Don't know what my parents were thinking" She said, she looked out the window and her hair fell in front of her face.

The blond girl from before opens the compartment door with another girl behind her.

"Sorry, can we sit here? We tried to find another spot, but almost every one was taken" The front girl said.

"Oh yeah, no problem!" I said. The front girl sat down next to me, the other one sat down next to Light.

"I'm Rose by the way, she's Cynthia" The girl next to me said, she looked nice. She had longer hair than the other girl, but they both had blue eyes.

"What are your names?" Cynthia asked, she sounded really sweet.

" I'm Allea" I said, I smiled at Light to encourage her to say something.

After a few seconds she looked at me.

"I'm..Light" She answered in a really quiet voice.

She must be feeling pretty awkward. The train started moving, Cynthia and Rose waved to people outside the train. Light looked at her lap.

Cynthia and Rose started talking about stuff, I got involved with the conversation but Light just sat there for a while, until I got her involved.

At least she felt more comfortable than before.

"I already miss my mom" Cynthia said.

" I miss my family too, my brother's a bit annoying, but still.." Rose said. She was quiet for a few seconds, clearly thinking about his schemes.

"We can still see them at Christmas" Rose said.

" I can't actually go home at Christmas, my mom has to work" Cynthia said. She looked a bit sad about it.

"Well..Uh, you can always write to them" Light said. She looked at Cynthia. "I know It's not the same, but-"

"Thanks! Gosh, I almost forgot about that!" Cynthia said, she rubbed the back of her head, a bit embarrassed.

"Yeah, we also have each other, we could all hang out if someone feels lonely" I said. I smiled at my newly formed friend group.

"Yeah!" Rose said smiling.

"I'm glad that...I met..You all.." Light started speaking.

"I'm glad...We're friends" Light finished.

"Me too!" I said smiling.

Rose and Cynthia smile in agreement.

Light looked up at me while Rose and Cynthia talk.

She looked shy, but she smiled at me a little. But before I even had a chance to react she looked away again.

We all decided that it was time for us all to change into our cloaks.
