JJK'S POV

As soon as papa left the house, I let my guards down. I fell on my knees sobbing hardly as Tae wrapped his arms around me.

I knew society might not support me but at least my family would try to understand me, my feelings, my happiness. And did it hurt like I've been stabbed multiple times on my heart.

Tae cradled me, rubbing my back soothingly and leaving kisses on my head till I could breathe without much complexity and stopped bawling my eyes out.

"Does crying mean I'm weak?" I asked hugging him, too afraid to look at his eyes.

"No, crying means you've been strong for long enough and you need a break to let out the pent up feelings." Tae murmured.

"Am I a crybaby?"

"No, you're my baby."

"I'm sorry for whatever happened. I didn't know he would react this way. I mean he never said he's against the whole homosexuality. So you know I assumed...." I choked out.

"It's ok, I felt bad 'cause it all happened because of me. Fuck I'm so useless— just all talk and no action. I wish I could say or do something to make things better. But I was just there standing like a puppet."

"You being there was enough— my only source of strength. I appreciate it that you respected our father-son relationship and let us handle our issues." I laughed at my own phrase 'our father-son relationship'.

"Yea, now you're making fun of me too. I should really leave," He joked lightly.

"You're staying. That's final. And let's not talk about this again. Okay?" Our eyes connected.

"Okay..." Tae gave me a tentative smile.

And that smile is worth dying for. I mean it.
