Chapter 2 [Protect]

Now ( still your POV)

As I remember what happened, I felt the need to protect, every monster that I find. It's sad to hear your kind was the reason another one was captive.. And then they finally come back to the surface only to face rasicm and death.
My heart refuses to give in such hate, I swore to my S/N (siblings name, gender can be female, male or non binary)

"That is a big promise" I looked at her/him/them and I can see the passion in her/his/their eyes. "Alright, alright, I promise"

'Now that I think about it, why does she want me to be the Light for the ones who lives in the shadow? I will find out one day, but for now, I need some sleep'

' Okay, I just finished the shower now I need to find an outfit.(Wear what you want to wear)
I need to make breakfast,he seems like the typ of guy who likes sweets, chocolate maybe? Yeah that sounds good'
I walked in the kitchen and make pancakes with chocolate.
As I was about to finish, I feel something moving behind me.
"Good morning" i happily greet the one behind me.
I placed the pancakes with other toppings (beside chocolate, cause you don't know if he likes it or not, You just guessed ) on the counter and turned around to meet a sleepy and curious Cross "Morning" he said almost falling backwards. " Did you sleep well?" He stares at me and then he seems to regain his memories from yesterday.
He frowns and looks away from me. Trying to change the Thema I say "I hope you like pancakes with chocolate" That seems to brighten up his mood even if you don't see it clearly. It still did the trick. I pointed at the table, he nods as a thanks, then sits down. "How are the wounds?" Wanting to start a conversation while I put the plates with food down and the drinks. "They are fine" " That's good, if you still need to recover though, you can stay here as long as you like" I smiled at him. He seems to be shocked, but then he has a blank face...'I hope I didn't say anything wrong'
"Remember yesterday? You came into the room and apologized, because I spoke to someone..can you see him? "
He pointed at the spot beside him, but there was nothing "No, but I can feel that there is someone" " That's Chara"
"It's nice to meet you, Chara? " I smiled

Timeskip

After breakfast I told Cross that I need to go to the market and if he wants something. He wanted chocolate 'Seems like I was right '
So I went out and meet the towns people. They are nice as long as you are a human, but someday it will change,then we can all life our happy ending. It won't matter if you're monster or human we will, life in peace. That would be nice. Anyways after the shopping and going home, I see something really bad.. The group of guys from yesterday are beating an already knocked out monster.. 'He is going to die soon, might as well need a plan' So I tried to get them far away from here as possible. I take a rock and throw it as hard as I can to the next dead end...Surprisingly it worked, now to the skeleton. 'He/she/they look(s) like Cross only with black tears? At least it looks like that, doesn't matter anyway, we need to go and fast' I picked him/her /them up bride still like Cross and I make a run for it. Somehow I managed to open the door with a skeleton in my arms and the bags in my hand. I let him down on my bed and but the bags with food and etc. in the kitchen. Then I went for the first aid to patch him /her /them up, after I was done I realized Cross was there and looked.. pissed of?
"What happened?"
"After the shopping, I walked home until I saw a group of people around this skeleton and they kinda um beaten him/ her /they up?"
"And how did you manage to get him outta there? And he is a guy. His name is Killer "

"Oh, okay thanks, and I kinda throw a rock in a dead end and they went there, then I picked him up and ran"

He looked concerned to his friend, I, at least think, that they are friends.
"How badly is it?"

"Not that bad, but still need, mabye a few days or more to recover"
He released a relived sigh
"I'll stay as long as he need. Mabye the others are here too?" His last sentence sounds like he asks himself that. "If you want, I can look for them?"

Cross POV

I don't belive what I just heard 'She wants to look for a murderer, a cannibal, the edge lord himself,a glitch and a living nightmare? Damn if she knew what she just got into, maybe I should come along or Killer, but what if someone breaks in and Killer is still knocked out or he will kill her? Wait why am I even concerned about a weak human? Eh, doesn't matter '

"If you bring them here' and somehow survive ' that would be great, but I don't know if they are here or at home"
She just smiles and said " I guess we will find out, could you watch him while I prepare the gastroom for him?He might be shocked if he wakes up in a completely strange house"
I nod, she smiles even bigger and goes to prepare the room for killer. ' Why does my face feel hot?' "Because you are blushing, Cross" Chara snickers and I just glared at them. "Hey, she is good looking, you can't tell me otherwise" He gives me a shit eating grin and I give up ' Can't tell a child otherwise' "Hey, I'm not a child" 'But you act like one' " At least I can't give her a skele- ton of work" wait... Was that a pun?! I look away, while Chara just laughs like a maniac.

Killer POV

'The last thing I remember was green.. A nice green color like the soultrait kindness. Then I completely blacked out. I hear talking.. Is that Cross? But who is the other voice? Sounds like a female, perhaps his girlfriend? Nahh Cross could never have a girlfriend.. Neither can the others and me, they fear us too much and I don't feel, so who is she? Someone goes out , mabye I can take a look. I can't open my eyes , no matter how hard I try. Ugh that's useless, what am I supposed to do?!Eh maybe I just need to sleep a little then I can wake up' But before I can sleep I hear someone "Protect the Light" Before I could say anything, I fell asleep. It feels like I slept for years, but I didn't. I woke up. In a room that's definitely not mine. I looked around only to find out, that is midnight and I am not tired. 'Maybe I can find Cross and ask him' So I stand up only to fall face first into the floor. "Damit" I whispered. And then the door open to reveal a.. Girl in... let's just say that she is in pj. "Are you alright?" She said that, as, if she were concerned about me. She seems weak so might as well have fun with her"Yeah, I'm alright, but who are you? "
" I'm Y/N L/N"

"Killer"
"You must be hungry killer, want some pasta?"
"

Heh, sure. Past-a way, please"

'Did I say please? What is wrong with me'

She laughs quietly, oh I see she likes bad puns
"Tibia honest, that was bad"
I smirked

"I find it pretty humerus"
She smiles, while trying to hold her laughs.
" Please follow me in the kitchen and lettuce eat"

She looked at me and said

We both laughed. She then handed me the pasta and said
" Bone Appétit"
She explained to me that Cross is here and that he thinks that the others are here too. She will look for them tomorrow. 'Maybe I should go with her, the others will probably kill her and she is too much fun, to just die like that'
