"Your Grandparents had two little girls, they were two years apart. Nian was the oldest and Bao the youngest." Dad says

"So Thats why Grand-dad had clothes that didn't belong to Nian. " I say thoughtfully.

"Bao was not next in line to take the throne being the youngest so she lived her life like she could die the next day and your Grandmother didn't like it." Dad says sadly

"They tried to marry her off but she wouldn't go so she ran away but not before Lian told her to never return." I finish for him deep in thought.

"How'd you know?" Yīng asks as she looks at my face.

"Mama always told it to me as a bedtime story she always called Bao a beautiful princess that was misunderstood by many." I say with a sad expression.

"That is true Bao is very beautiful. Misunderstood yes but, it wasn't her fault your grandparents barely paid her attention. Nian loved her little sister and would do little things for her when your grandparents weren't looking." Dad says with a small smile.

"I guess she grew out of that when she had me huh? Having a little sister made her not wanna raise her daughter." I say as I feel tears well up in my eyes.

"Don't cry sweetheart Nian had a soft spot but eventually she started to pay less attention like your parents then she met me and Bao was already gone. Obviously we had you at 14 and I was 15 so It was hard for her to take the criticism your grandparents threw her way." Dad says

"But Grand-Dad told me that He wasn't mad at Nian for having me in fact I spent most of my time with him. My Grandmother though We don't get on well she sees me as nothing but a distraction. She begged Nian to mate with someone so that the elves could have someone worthy of the throne but Nian never did she was cruel that way." I say as the tears start to stream down my cheeks.

"Im not looking forward to meeting your mother." Ryan says as she wipes my tears with her fingertips.

"As you shouldn't you'll only meet her when she comes here Im never going back to a place where Im unwanted." I respond as I sniffle.

"What about your parents Yīng?" Brooklyn asks hesitantly

"My parents gave me up for the royals I was raised with Zhi by a maid. Her name was Jun Yenay Chéng." Yīng replys as she holds Brooklyn's waist.

"Yīng's parents were royal gaurds, Lian told all of the royals gaurds that they shouldn't marry or have children because then they would put their family before the royals. Yīng's parents were secretly married and it didn't help that they were both gaurds so when Yīng's mom fell pregnant she hid her belly from Lian and had Yīng in secret, they gave her up and never looked back." I say with a sad smile

"This maid where is she would you have brought her?" Brooklyn asks

"No. She passed away just last year during the spring me and Zhi held a special ceremony for our mom." Yīng says
