Twenty-nine

9 years later
I wake up with warmth behind me and make my way out of bed.

I walk into my bathroom and do my morning routine before walking into the closet wrapped in my towel.

I dry myself off and moisturize my body with coco butter before pulling on my undergarments.

I then put on one of Ryan's button down shirts and make my way out of the closet.

I walk out of the room and make my way down the stairs.

I head straight to the kitchen and get out the ingredients to make breakfast.

30 minutes later I set the last plate on the table and push my braids out of my face just as Brooklyn walks through the door.

Aiyanna in twists comes bouncing down the stairs in her PJ's with Nyx in braids and Ryan behind her.

I smile and go to walk in the kitchen but Ryan stops me.

Instead I sit in my chair and watch as everyone else sits in their seats.

Ryan comes into the dining room with everyone's drinks so we all dig into our plate.

"Hey Mama can we go to the beach today?" Nyx asks as she looks up from her plate.

"It's not a bad Idea, What do you guys think?" I ask as I chew my food nd sip a little bit of Apple juice.

"Well since we haven't been in a while maybe it'll widen our search for Aiyanna's mate." Dad says as he finishes up his food.

"Yeah it has been a year since she's gotten her wolf it's a shame she hasn't found her mate yet." Ryan responds as I get up.

"Speaking of mates Rue why don't you invite your mate?" I ask as I walk towards the kitchen.

"I'll ask but her mom hates me." Lasarue says as he walks into the kitchen with his plate.

I put my plate in the sink and head into the dining room with Lasarue following.

"I'll go with you just meet me at my car after we all go change." I say as I sit on Ryan's lap.

Lasarue nods and sighs as he sits back in his seat.

"What's wrong bro?" Ezek asks from his seat.

"Im not looking forward to Zhi meeting her mom, Your going to be so disappointed in me." Lasarue says sadly as he puts his face in his hands.

I simply look at him suspiciously and Ryan kisses my neck.

I shiver in delight and get off her lap.

"Alright everyone out, lets go get ready. I guess since your going to get the girl meet us at the beach." Yīng says as she gets up from her seat.

I nod with a smile as Ryan gets up with everyone's dishes and makes her way to the kitchen.
