"Ice skating?" I asked him, smiling. He nodded at me and continued leading me into the skating rink. "Aw, Louis..." I cooed, thinking this was the cutest idea.

"I wouldn't know if you liked this kind of thing... but I figured you'd think it was sweet," he told me, honestly and I smiled.

"I think it's insanely sweet," I told him, but inside, I could feel my stomach turning. Although this was sweet and all, I had never really ice skated before, and I was kind of clumsy, so I didn't really know how this was going to go. I figured Louis knew what he was doing, but I didn't really know how much hope I could have in that. He kissed my cheek, and held my hand as he got our skates and such. Once we had gotten our skates and had put them on, I looked at Louis. "You can't laugh at me if I fall on my face. I'll need your help right away, got it? I'm not good with-"

"Physical pain?" he asked.

"Well, yeah, and-"

"Embarrassment?"

"Well, yeah..."

"And being in front of me and looking stupid?"

"Louis, how did you-"

"You've been whispering to yourself. You have some pretty intense scenarios, my love." I sighed, covering my face.

"Great," I told myself. He pulled my hands away from my face and kissed my forehead, right in the middle.

"Would you stop?" he asked, laughing. "You're adorable, so it's fine." I smiled at him and we both started to get out on the ice. Once he got on the ice, he smiled, probably proud that he hadn't fallen yet. I, on the other hand, wobbled as soon as I got on the ice. "Hey, if you don't think about it, it's easier. Pretend you're sliding around in your socks because you have freshly cleaned hardwood floors." I rolled my eyes and tried to do as he had said. He ended up walking around the entire rink with me once as I held onto the railing.

"This is so nerve racking," I told him and he smiled at me.

"You're doing fine," he told me. I let go of the railing, feeling courageous. He took my hand that was lingering above the railing into his hand and I gulped, scared I would fall. We slowly skated toward the middle and he let go of my hands, leaving me. My eyes widened as he did so and he smiled at me. If there weren't people around us, I would scream at him, but sadly that wasn't the case. "C'mon, you can skate to me," he told me. Louis lost his balance a bit, slipping around a bit and I laughed. He rolled his eyes at me and I smiled. I glided, not-so-smoothly, over to him and he smiled at me. "See?" I smacked his arm and he rubbed it. "Ow."

"You're an arse," I told him and he gasped.

"I'm only training you for the next Ice Age!" I rolled my eyes and pulled him over to the railing, slowly. "You're getting a slight case of Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer, love," Louis told me and kissed my nose.

"It's cold," I told him and he nodded.

"Hey, we can leave at any time, by the way," he told me and I smiled.

"I don't think I'll want to," I told him and kissed his cheek. "I'm having a swell time," I said, and as I did so, my footing slipped from underneath me and I fell straight onto my bum. I bit my tongue, keeping in my screams. Louis kneeled down.

"Are you okay?" he asked me, not even finding this amusing.

"I'm fine, I think. I might've broken my bum, but that just happens to the best of us," I told him and he shook his head at me, smiling. He stood up and pulled my with him. I winced as I stood up, realizing it hurt when I moved. "Can we take a rest? Just for a second?" I asked him and he nodded, holding my hand in his. We turned around and I made eye contact with a familiar someone. Phoebe quickly darted her eyes away from me and I shook my head, laughing to myself.
