Criminal Minds: Alexis Blake Returns

Ch 3

"Ok lets get started shall we?" Hotch says when he walks in.

"Alright," I say. "Ok 3 teenage girls found dead the past month and a half. All of course white blonde blue eyed around 5 feet tall. They were all tortured for about 2 weeks before they died of starvation and dehydration. This fourth girl escaped and survived but is in the hospital for lack of nutrition. Police caught the guy but escaped custody late last night. They think he is after our Jane Doe in the hospital before he continues his work."

"How did she escape when she is this skinny and had very little nutrition?" my mom asks

"Well she is an athlete who knows how to run on low energy. It is a new fad to once a month train while not getting a lot of nutrition so in cases like this these athletes can still function. And of course the reason this fad started was because of me and my case. I some how unintentionally started this," I reply.

"Alright wheels up in 30," Hotch tells us.

"When we land Alexis and JJ go the the hospital, I will set up, Alex and Reid go to the recent dumpsite, Morgan and Rossi split up and go to the other sites," Hotch orders.

Once we land we split up. Rossi, Morgan, and Hotch in one SUV, my mom and Reid in another and JJ and I on the motor cycle. As everyone else leaves JJ and I get ready.

"Warning JJ. When I go 80 m/h it is gonna seem like 100," I tell her so she is not surprised.

"Thanks for the warning. Now I know one reason you like driving these things," she says then we giggle a bit.

"You ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."

I get on and prep the bike before she gets on. Once on we head to the hospital to talk to our Jane Doe. It takes about half an hour to get there. When we get there we head up to the room so we can ask questions.

"Hey there," I say when we enter the room. "I am junior agent Alexis and this is SSA Jennifer Jareau but you can call me Alex and Jennifer JJ. What is your name?"

"Alyssa," she says. "Wait you're Alex like the famous one right?"

"Yes I am. I am here to help catch your abductor. He escaped custody last night and we need to know where he holds the girls so he cannot take them and hide them somewhere else. If he does he will then come for you."

"There is an abandoned car factory across the lake near the abandoned barn he uses to torture us. Under the last building is a basement that he holds us in."

"OK. Thank you Alyssa," I say as JJ walks out and calls Garcia. "I think it was brave of you to escape so you can help all those other girls. I know how hard it is to be able to do that."

"Thanks and you were brave to be able to handle your parents the way you did."

"Thanks. Just so you know JJ will stay here to protect you. I have to go help the rest of my team catch this guy and send him to jail," I tell her as JJ walks in.

I leave about 5 mins later with my bulletproof vest on under my jacket, hair up under my helmet, and gun in its place. On my way to meet up the rest of the team I see our guy on his motorcycle heading the same direction. I speed up with my lights and sirens going off and chase him for another 2 miles before I catch up and pull him over. My team pulls up in front of him and jumps out guns up.

"Freeze!!! Put your hands up where I can see them Ricardo!!" I yell over the traffic and wind.

As he does so I walk up behind him and attempt to arrest him. Before I can fully do so he elbows me in the face and tries to run for it. I quickly knock him off his feet be taking him out at his ankles. We both get up and he lunges at me pushing us both down to the ground. He gets in a few blows before I punch him in the face kick him off then pin him face down to the ground and I finish arresting him. Derek comes over and pulls him off the ground while I move out of the way and put pressure on my eyebrow since it is gushing out blood.

Few minutes later the Ambulance pulls up and I get up and walk over to them with the help of my mom. They cleaned up the wound and then stitched it up. Once I am free to go and cleared to ride I got on my bike and drive off to the hospital to tell Alyssa the good news.

When I get to the room no one is in it and JJ is standing outside the door looking sad. I notice she was not there and I start to tear up. JJ's face showed it all. Alyssa died a few minutes after I left. I cry a river in JJ's arms until I cannot cry.

On the plane I sit on the coach blasting music while everyone else but my mom is asleep. She sits down next to me and I turn off my music.

"I didn't even get to tell her that we caught the guy and was able to rescue the other girls he held captive," I say as I tear up again.

"It is OK baby girl," she says while I lean on her and she holds me tight."She died a hero. If it was not for her, she and the rest could have died before we caught him. He rigid the bomb to go off when he got there so he could see them die. Good thing you pulled him over when you did. You are also a hero to all those girls, their families, and the town."

I did not respond because I could not find any words to say without crying. After trying to fight the tears I end up crying myself to sleep.
