Chapter 5:

(Out of POV)

The group travel miles over rocky paths and the base was now not far from where they are traveling, but..the rest is off road.

Ironhide leads the three through unmarked paths through pine woods and over large rivers. With luck they had to stop because of a signal coming to them.

(Ironhide's POV)
I sigh in the speakers and Bailey looks back at the two that just stop behind me.

"Hide? Everything okay?"she asked hearing the signal from the comm.

"Got a stinkin' signal from some bot. I dunno who it is, but y'all have to stay near me. I dunno how everyone gonna react to ya or ya younglings."I said to her seeing a sigh.

She upset that we don't trust her. I do, but the others aren't since the whole thing after NEST.

"Hidey. There something coming up from that hill."Ava said.

Ava has been recently attach to me. Unlike most sparkling I have met in my many cycles, the humans younglings don't last long but they are more emotional.

They got out of my alt and I tranform hidden behind the rock formation. I couldn't see anyone but Ratchet alerted me that some bot was here.

I moved my cannons keeping an optic out over the landscape. This is a good spot for cover and place to keep the three safe.

I gave Bailey a blaster since she was taught to us one. It good to know what at least one human was nice enough to come with me.

Even if she hadn't had that thing in her arm. It rare to find loyalty like that one this planet.

"Hide."Bailey whispered looking from around my pedes,"12 o'clock. 20 clicks from here."she said and I face that direction..

Surely enough a figure was there. Slowly coming weapons ready.

I moved to cover any bullets to the younglings or Bailey.

Sideswipe was behind the rock formation to surprise attack with Ratchet.

Watching the bot I start to see the frame work and the color. I lower my weapons.

"Ya stupid mech! What ya doin' here!"I said and a laugh came from the bot who came closer.

"Why nothing at all. If I knew it was you I would of gave you a welcoming gift!" Dino came up and put away his weapons. And Ratchet and Sideswipe came out shocked from the mech sudden entrance.

"Ah! I see you have others here! Ratchet and Sideswipe. What else, and entire army?"he joked and I rolled my optics. Ava quietly came out and looked up.

"Hidey, who this bot? Is he a friend of yours?"Ava said catching Dino off guard. He paused and looked down at my pedes. Bailey gave me my weapon and lean on the rock wall while Lucas came out to her.

"This is there conversation, Ava, we shouldn't bother."he said and I watch Dino crouch down.

"No, it's fine. "I sigh seeing Bailey laugh while climbing up my armor.

(Ava's POV)
A new bot was here. Hidey said I should greet them first. So that I can make more friends. So I went a head asking.

"Who are you, cupcake?"the red bot asked.

"I'm Ava Lillies Mercedes. I'm 4."I said holding my kitty knowing that it make me feel comfortable.

"Ava Lillies. Beautiful name, I'm Dino."he said and Mr.Ratchet came up.

"Dino, have you seen any sign of the others? We were heading to the west because of a signal from Optimus."he said and I sat still and quiet.

Ironhide moved his servo and picked up me up as well as my brother setting us on a space between his neck and shoulder.
