Wait for me, my cheollie.

I ran to the tower, as if time is chasing me. But I stopped when I bumped into someone.

“Oh shit I'm sorry!” The man said and helped me stand up.

“I'm sorry for that. My boyfriend wanted me to get home before 9:30! Speaking of, I have to go! I'm sorry!!” He quickly said and bowed before running off.

I looked at the running boy weirdly. That's weirdly specific but okay.?

I shooked my head and started running to the elevator.

Once I arrived to my destined floor, I took a deep breath and held his lavaliere tightly.

The elevator door opened so I stepped out, and admired the surroundings. It's been awhile since I've been here.

The last time was because of him, I ended a 2 year relationship and now, I came back, still because of a stranger I met and fell in love with after being acquainted in just two days.

And finally, after 8 years, I saw him. Pacing around frantically as if looking around for something. And I knew exactly what it was.

“Looking for this? ” I questioned and luckily, I didn't stutter.

I held up his lavaliere while he just froze.

Say something.. I want to hear your voice..

“H-hannie.. You're here..” And finally, after 8 years, I heard his voice again.

I tried my best to not break down to tears while just hearing his voice.

And suddenly, he ran to me.

“Hannie, you don't know how much I wanted to see you.” He cried, while hugging me.

At this point, I couldn't control my tears and just let it all flow out while hugging him back.

“You don't know how much I've missed you.. Cheollie.”

We hugged each other for so long, neither one of us wanting to let go.

“Hannie.. I'm so sorry.. I'm sorry for leaving you like that.. I'm sorry if I didn't come back for so long.. I'm sorry for everything I did that hurt you, Hannie.” He sobbed and that triggered another batch of tears flowing out my eyes.

“I-it's okay Cheollie.. I'm just so happy you're back.. ”

We let go of the hug and faced each other to talk. I admired his face, it hasn't changed at all since I last saw him. Still have those beautiful eyes that I fell in love with.

“Hannie.. I want to explain what happened since the day I left. You don't have to forgive me that easily love, I know you've suffered as well.” He started and I almost died with his 'love' if only this moment wasn't emotional.

“So you know my parents, they're very strict especially to me since I'm the youngest in my family. My brother was in the US that time which is why whenever my parents ask me to do something, I couldn't say no.”

“My dad has asked me to run our business in Daegu temporarily before my brother comes back. My sister wasn't really that good when it comes to handling business so of course, I was the only one left.”

“8 years, and finally, last December, my brother came home. I was furious at him because he got to enjoy his life at US while I stayed here, alone, longing to be with you. And he even came back with a fiancè.”

“I didn't talk to him for a month which is why my dad didn't let me run back here to Seoul until we get things right between us. And so I decided to stop acting like a stuck up and just fix things between me and my brother.”

“It all happened yesterday, when we made up, I immediately headed here to Seoul and looked for you. I hope you won't be weirded out, but I also asked Mingyu to look after you. He found out you and I knew each other, so he and his boyfriend decided to live here for a while, to look out for you.”

“That day at effloresce with Mingyu and Wonwoo? I was so happy when Mingyu said he heard you say my name. That was also the day my mom and my sister found out about you because I couldn't stop walking around and screaming in glee. They were the ones who bought the airplane tickets and convinced dad to just let me go and find you.”

“I wasn't sure if you're already happy with someone else or was it still me. But I took the risk and even made a promise to let you go and be happy if you already found someone else.”

“And so, I ended up here in Seoul. Still can't believe you're infront of me.”

He said and caressed my face. I melted at his touch, I've been longing for this as well.

“You idiot! I've almost been engaged at this very same place! but I said no. Do you know how hard that was?! I loved him but you kept crossing my mind. I loved him but why the hell did I hoped it was you instead of him proposing?! I loved him but I was still longing for your sweet face.” I cried and he hugged me again.

“I loved him but I realized, not the same way I love you.”

“I love you. I love you, my hannie. I'm sorry if it took me 8 years for you to hear those words again. If you'll let me, I will shower you with the love, time and attention you deserve.” He whispered before kissing my forehead.

“Do you think I waited 8 years to say no? Do you think I rejected a marriage just to say no to you? ” I responded while crying. He chuckled and hugged me again.
