Chapter 24- Nightmare.

LOCATION- MALABAR HILLS (MUMBAI)

(THIRD PERSON POV)

Vaishnavi was sleeping peacefully until her body suddenly jerked and started sweating unceasingly. Her whole bed was wet because of her sweat which was flowing from her body like a river. Her head was moving continuously from left to right and then right to left. Her legs were stumping the bed making her bed sheet fall on the ground.

Her hands were jolted and clutching the bed beneath her. Her breathing were abrupt and wasn't regular. Her chest was unceasingly rising and then descending because she wasn't able to breathe properly. Her heart beats were uneven and were beating very fasting. Her closed eyes were wavering with tears and they were continuously flowing making her situation worst. Even after soo many struggles done by her in an unconscious manner, she wasn't ready to get up.

Any one looking at her now can say that she was having a nightmare... A worst Nightmare.

She was now curled in the bed and suddenly her upper body pulls her up with her mouth releasing a shrill scream.

Her heavy breathing and her previous scream were the only sounds which were revolving around her room. She holds her head in her hands and starts crying very hardly releasing her painful memories which were alive now.

Her hands freed her head and reached for her phone which was on night stand besides her bed. She stopped crying and rubbed her hands on her eyes from better view. She switched on her phone and want she saw next did nothing much but made her cry more and more.

"Date- Tuesday, 15th December 2020....."

Today is his birthday..... My love's birthday.

(In the morning.)

We all were eating breakfast in pure silence while I was just staring at it. My heart was denies me to eat the breakfast. I got up that instant and told my didi's that I don't want to eat and walked away from there after giving them a small smile.

I was in my room and was ready to go out. Today I took a day off so I was free. Don't ask me why.

I saw dhvani di entering my room with a tray of food in her hands.

"Dhvani di I said na I don't want to eat anything. I don't have mood to eat."
I said in a irritating voice which I regretted soon as I was never used to talk with them in such a manner.

"If your mood is not nice then it's okay but don't disgrace food. It's inauspicious, you that right..?"
She said and yeah it's right even though my mood isn't good but I shouldn't disgrace any one just because of my mood.

I took the tray from her and sat down on the couch in my room. I started eating immediately as dhvani di sat near me till I was done eating.

She kept the tray aside and asked me something which I was running away from.

"Vaishnavi tell me now what happened..?"

"Di-di.." My voice cracked and tears were threatening me to fall any time.

"See don't lie in front of me. Now breathe, let your tears descend and tell me what happened..?"

I took a deep breathe before telling her what happened as I knew that I couldn't lie to her.

"......Dhvani di I saw a Nightmare today and today is Jimmy's birthday too...."

Even though my voice was cracking but still it was stable.

I told her the whole nightmare.

I also told her that I saw the exact thing when I and Jimmy meet. Hiw each and every thing which I saw happened in reality and how every words which he spoke were his real words in past.

"But...."
I stopped in between as I wasn't able to speak.

"But what muffin..?"
She said while rubbing her hand on my back relaxing me.

"But didi I saw a scene which never happened in real life."
I said with my eyebrows wrinkling.

" What scene..?"
She asked in confusion.

"That I cheated him."
My words were cracking but I know that dhvani di was able to hear it as I saw her expressions change. I started crying again while she hugged me tight.....I needed a hug sook badly right now. I hugged her back tightly crying my heart out.

I was finally calmed down after crying for few minutes in her embrace.

"Muffin...."
She called me out soo sweetly making me immediately look at her with my glassy teary eyes.

"Kya hua di..?"
I asked her in hindi.

("What happened")

"Do you know some times when we love some one and then some thing happens which breaks our heart....that time we are devastated. We don't know what to do and many such questions started arising in our minds... which ultimately make us forget some thing...and that some thing is an important piece of that person's life."
She said leaving me confused.

"Matlab..?"
I asked her again in hindi.

("What does it means..?")

"It means that you are missing an important part of last year incidents."

She said bit it wasn't enough to me understand her point. She chuckled looking at my confused face again said some thing. But this time, this some thing made my eyes go wide in realisation.

"Do you remember two years ago approximately you told us that you never... You never dreamt of some thing related to past because you only dream of future."

She smiled at looking at my expressions which were like that I found water in an isolated desert.

"It means that you-"
She was going to say some thing but I was first to speak making her stop in mid way of speaking.

"....it means that I have to travel back in time of my memories to find out what actually happened.

So now it's time for the Flashback..."
