**Cecelia's P.O.V.**

Once we finished our first week of classes, my friends and I decided to go to the beach this weekend. Kenzie and I had went to the mall two days ago to buy a couple bikinis, which we were putting on right now.

"Kieran is just so sweet," Kenzie gushes, as she's been doing for the past couple of days.

They've gone on a couple dates the past few days, and I have never seen her happier. He would also be joining on us to the beach, which was making Kenzie act extremely giddy; something I'd never seen her do over a guy. This would be the first time that the two of us met, not counting that time at the coffee shop, and I couldn't wait. I wanted to know why Kenzie was going absolutely crazy over him. She constantly talked about him, which I found insanely adorable. It was cute seeing my best friend crushing hard on a guy. Besides my love life was confusing me, so it was nice to fangirl over hers.

"Do you think it's too soon for us to be official?"

"Well not really I don't see how--"

"Eh, who am I kidding? Even if you said yes, I wouldn't have stopped," she shrugs, before turning to get some sunscreen.

I glare at her for interrupting me, "If you weren't going to consider my opinion, then why ask for it?"

"I figured that's what friends asked each other."

I roll my eyes at her response. Of course she would just ask me something, not really intending on listening in the first place.

"But we're best friends. The ones who ask for your opinion, but don't give a shit what you actually think and will do whatever we want to do," she says brightly.

I laugh knowing she's right. That's how you tell the difference between fake friends and real friends.

"Hurry up, our friends and your boy toy are waiting for us."

"He's not my boy toy!" She protests.

"Whatever you say."

"Really! He's going to be my boyfriend soon," she sings.

"That's great, then I'll have to spend less time with you," I cheer.

I don't even have time to address the fact that she's giving me a nasty glare because Ethan texts asking us to hurry, so I grab Kenzie pushing her out the door as we head to the beach.

A short car ride later, we reach the beach. Ethan was there, along with his roommate Caleb (I still ship them even though I'm his girlfriend), Kieran (he was the geeky type, but damn did he have a nice body), along with my brother Jason (eyeing Caleb weirdly), and lastly Drake (who I wanted to throw off a cliff). Kenzie and Kieran automatically started chatting about the 'brave lives' that were lost in Harry Potter, Caleb started to- what I assume is flirt- with a blushing Ethan, with Jason just looked at Caleb as if he was mental, and Drake looking intensely at me. I had some weird friends.

I walked over to Ethan dragging him away from Caleb, who didn't hide a scowl at having him taken away, and towards the ocean. And while the whole time I tried to focus on my boyfriend, really tried, I couldn't focus on anything except how sexy Drake looked in his swimming trunks.

"Is everything alright?" Ethan asks with a concerned gaze.

I don't know why, but I suddenly felt extremely guilty. Here Ethan is, a wonderful boyfriend, who's concerned about me and I can't stop thinking about another guy; especially one that broke my heart.

"No, everything is fine," I lie, feeling even more guilty that I can't even be honest with him.

"It's okay Celia. I know how hard this must be for you."
