Author's Note ~

Welcome back! We are finally on Wizards React Book 3! Isn't that crazy? This one is shorter than the other shows, so we are only doing one chapter per month, just so it can be nicely spaced out and there isn't a lot of pressure to get two done in one month.

Seating Chart:

It is written out, but if anyone would like a visual, we are more than happy to accommodate. Yes, we know some people are not characters in Wizards, however, it wouldn't be right to put one couple together when this theater experience helps bring the characters closer.

JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE NAMES IN THE SECOND ROLE, THEY MIGHT NOT SPEAK, THEY JUST HAVE MORE OF A POSSIBILITY OF REACTING!

Merlin felt a rising sense of panic swell within him as he watched the forces of the Arcane Order descend upon Camelot, their dark powers and malicious intent threatening to tear apart the very kingdom he had used for the protection of both his Trollhunter and a member of the Order that refused to follow through with their work. It was clear the Arcane Order was in search of Merlin as he held the most valuable people to their needs, but the Order being able to capture them was not what Merlin wanted.

He knew with a deep, gnawing certainty that he had to stop them at all costs - for if they were to succeed in their nefarious plans, the consequences would be catastrophic, the world itself hanging in the balance. Merlin rarely felt the grip of fear, his own formidable magical abilities typically giving him an unshakable confidence, but in this moment he couldn't help the worry that consumed him.

His Trollhunter, the brave warrior he had entrusted to carry out his most vital missions, now lay encased in an impenetrable crystal prison, a desperate measure taken to shield him from the shard's corrupting influence. The moment Merlin watched his Trollhunter fall to the ground with pain, having been struck in the heart, his stomach felt as if it was moving toward his throat. He questioned every moment, trying to figure out why the boy was taken down.

And now, the Arcane Order had turned their sights on Nari, who held knowledge that could unravel everything Merlin had worked for. He could not allow them to take her, to seize that critical information - the world's very survival depended on keeping it from their clutches.

He knew what was to come, his ability to glimpse into the future was both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it granted him unparalleled foresight, allowing him to peer ahead and witness the events that would unfold. However, this power came with a heavy burden - the knowledge of what was to come, and the realization that some of those events were unavoidable.

Merlin found himself trapped in a constant state of inner turmoil, torn between the desire to intervene and change the course of the future, and the understanding that certain things were simply meant to be. He thought he had more time to make some things right, reminding himself of his decision to show Jim a vision of what lay ahead for the young trollhunter and the fact that it was not made lightly.
